Going to see some good mates after Christmas. It's just fallen through really - parents were in Berlin but arranged to see gf instead and then she's worried about her family having loads of arguments so doesn't think it is a good idea. (AND she hasn't got me anything for Christmas!!!!! ARGH!!! haha) Now it is too late to get plane tickets without spending $$$. So I'm left decorating. Aye never mind. Next year is going to be a lot better.

 

Have been invited by various family friends but would just feel a little about spending xmas day with them!

I'm not sure really! Am vegetarian so wouldn't be the traditional route. I might go up my local pub see whether they are doing anything.

yeah sure is full on here, but only cos my dad is staying here till he gets abit better, but i dont mind. ill be happy when its tea time tomorrow, then the shops are shut, and what i havent got i cant get.

Ah well. The bar manager who I know is a very sweet girl so if I go up there and get sozzled maybe she'll give me a sympathy hug.

 

Know what you mean about the shops. Once the shops have shut there CAN BE NO MORE SHOPPING. A good situation. I've spent tonnes on presents this year. Scary stuff... top of the line hair straightening things from Boots, actual boots, MAHOOSIVE box of chocolates, skirt, top, remote control car, more chocolates, pair of jasper conran pajamas... Aaah well.

It's a bit weird, me and some mates have this tradition of going to one of their parents houses (it's like this HUGE old house, it is quite cool), and getting truly sloshed. It's like this institution. It's the only time all the mates from uni all meet up. Some would be up for going out properly tho I think. Might have to see whether I can do that next year!
