As far as I'm concerned year on year its the Next Sale - its a proper sale - 90% of everything starts off at half price and then gets continually marked down even lower throughout the day.

 

I'm a lucky git as I work in an area (London Bridge) which is primarily offices, i.e. no tourists etc.. shopping, and because 80% of people are off on holiday the shops here are empty and as such full to the brim of heavily discounted clothing and also marked down that much faster due to the lack of sales !

 

I've already popped to Next TWICE today and will be going again this afternoon when prices are lower still.

 

I have 4 bags, my boss has EIGHT !

Q. What sale do you think is the best one out there and why ?

 

My local Co-op has a good sale every year on boxing day but it's only on selected electrical items and it advertises these goods in the local papers before christmas so you get a few crazy people that tend to think it's okay to camp out in the middle of the town centre for 2 days!

Suppose it's worth the wait though as far as they are concerned as I know of one fella that got a £2500 television for £399 and a woman that got a £2000 3 piece leather suite fo £200.

The are all [censored] nutters imho!

 

there doing 5 muller yoghurts with crunchy corners for 1.50 in my local tesco.

 

obviously i havnt seen it myself as i am currently in hiding.....

 

or maybe im not.

In Oxford, theres a Next clearance shop, the sale there has 50% off the already reduced prices! Can't beat that!
