Why do people, like, using the word "like" in like every sentence, like?

yeah, it like really pisses me off, like

 

(sorry i keep calling you like, like)

Its like, soooo annoying, like.

its the same for alot of things tho.

 

like the word basicaly, people say

Basicaly i am going to eat this sandwiche

 

dose basicaly add? are they going to eat the sandwiche basicaly?

 

its jus anoying things u pick up when your around others to much

i say - like, eh, and she said/he said which i know is very annoying but its the way i talk.

 

does it really matter tho? if we all spoke the same it would be boring
