On another note, is it just me or does anybody else find North-west London (Willesden, Kensal, Kilburn and Harlesden) strange? No one really ever ventures there or talks about it that much. I find it one of those areas where you should only have to go if you really HAVE to. I was travelling to Harlesden a couple of weeks ago on the tube and as the train entered the station I noticed that someone had painted "THE POINT OF NO RETURN" on the Underground sign. Harlesden was an interesting part of town. I recommend it to all Londoners.

I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse.

i'm moving up to london this summer, from the people that know, what kinda areas could i live in for around a maximum of 800pcm for two people??

West London mate. Trust me, if you're new to living in London, then live somewhere in the west. True that it is more pricey, but you'll def be able to find somewhere for £800pcm. There are some nice places near the river in Chiswick but you could always find somwhere near Queensway.
