ok...me and my other half are planning a night out this saturday...the only problem is we dont have money for a big night out clubbing.....so im thinking something different to do

 

I fancied a comedy night but Jongleurs starts too early..nothing on at the theatre...any suggestions please?

Did that about 2 year ago, brought back some right memories, for more fun, bring a pellet gun with you.

pictures, then on for an italian or mexican then home with a bottle of wine and a hot bath for 2

I went bowling before christmas, it was a giggle. I'm crap at it and dropped the ball a couple of times but it was good fun.

 

Whats the game they always have in bowling alley arcades, the one where you have a puck thingy and you have to score goals against your apponent by hitting it into a slit on their side of the table? Anyway i love that game.

LOL, I just realised Elitechick said it was with her "other half" and not just "a mate"!

 

Cinema + restaurant + bottle of wine = surely close to the cost of clubbing...?

she lives in leicester (same as me) there are plenty of places that do cheap meals.

 

our local bowling alley will cost you £8 for a game which if there is only 2 of you will take half hour......money needed for the rest of the night

 

bottle of wine £3-4....needent be expensive
