My housemate has an irrational hatred for the number 13?

 

Anyone else?

My teenage daughter has been kidnapped, and the people I work with may be involved in both.

I'm Federal Agent Jack Bauer and this is the longest day of my life...

    its my lucky number

     

    the reason it is deemed unlucky is because 1 + 3 equals 4 which is a far eastern unlucky number (if u buy dinner set out there it will always be 5 not the usual number 4)

    I was going to post a gag about flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality but it's just flogging a dead horse.

    Well, I aint superstitious, so no, doesn't worry me.

     

     

     

    BUT..

     

    I I had a choice of something, and was numbered say 11 to 16 for example, I wouldn't choose number 13. Dunno why, sorta trying to tempt fate.

     

    Then again, I don't think fate exists, oh gawd, I dunno.

    i read that 13 was meant to be unlucky because it was the number of people at the "last supper". yeahthat.gifshrug.gif

    definately something to do with disciples and judas and that kind of malarky.

     

    ben, i think its a long shot that 13 is unlucky because 1 & 3 make 4. cos that would knock out 31 and 22 without even getting into subtraction, u random monkey!
