The BBC has been urged to "consider the position" of Robert Kilroy-Silk after he branded Arabs "suicide bombers, limb amputators and women repressors".

Classic case of how slightly better phrasing could have saved his neck.

 

IMHO I don't see how you can contest that many Arabic countries (albeit not all Arabs) are "limb amputators and women repressors". Not having seen the program in question, I guess this is what he meant...?

 

I prefer the Wright Stuff anyway - kick ass program. Nowadays Kilroy has gone the same way as Trisha et al - i.e. [censored] debating topics!

What a characterhe is. Its not the first time he's spoken out of line though. He actually used to be a Labour member of parliament. However, I suspect he would do quite well under Tony's smiley faced, no frills government!
