1. My mountain bike. Kona Muni-Mula that has seen action from Nepal to New Zealand to Spain to the UK.

2. Decks and mixer (1210 Mk5 Gs and DJM600)- finally seem to be making a breakthrough in my mixing.

 

Worst

1- infinity Apple i-mac (original). Utter shite. Expensive- looked pretty but a complete joke. I mean a mouse that you can't right click on- give over!

Best - My Dc's, they have lasted 2 years and still look new (with the aid of car bumper blackner)

 

Worst - DIgital camera that lasts for 8 shots before the batteries die. (even duracell)

iMacs are a classic case of "don't believe the hype". There are a lot of purists out there who think they are better than PCs, but (to generalise) these people have never really tried to use PCs.

 

Apple make out that they're as fast / faster than PCs, but they're so much more sliggish than PCs, and there are lots of interface design flaws that badly get on my tits. Much as Microsoft get slagged off, Windows is very ambitious, yet their last few versions of Windows have been very refined (especially XP).

 

Don't even get me started on trying to develop software for the Mac, it's a bloody nightmare compared with writing software for Windows!

 

Yes they're pretty, the new MacOS looks amazing, but IMHO Macs suck ass.

 

BTW you can use normal PC mice on a Mac. MacOS does support right-click menus like Windows. At least that way it will be just about use-able.

Best: pioneer cdj1000 my most favouritest thing ever. cant wait to be able to afford a 2nd

 

Worst: Big Room Tunes cd - bought it cos it was cheap (was even cheaper next day tho, D'oh). far too many cheesy tunes on it. Plus Nick sentience didnt mix one of the cds (he has mixed one on the previous 3 big room releases).

best thing......hair straitners, cost a fortune but well worth it
