Ah thanks guys, yes, it's been horrific in a manic sence! Never been so tired, think I went 3 days unwashed, 2 days un-brushed teeth, just about could remember what day it was on Sunday. But we are all moved in now. Just need to unpack and put my Swansea stamp on the place. 🥰

As long as you have the important things unpacked the rest you can take your time with. 
 

by important you need fridge for alcohol and food I guess, kettle, cooker, pots, plates, cutlery, cups, bed and bedding and something to sit on.  Oh and toiletries.   
 

kettle was first when we moved here then set the beds up and that was that we slowly started sorting the rest. 😂

All our big appliances arrived on Sunday, except our cooker won't arrive until 28th Feb.. so its microwave meals at the moment, had a banging Indian from Iceland last night 😅

Working from home today to wait for BT Open Reach to sort our phone line, which I've got a funny feeling they won't turn up and connections will be done remotely.

Fucking god help who ever answers the phone to me later if the latter is the case!

we got a halogen oven to use when our kitchen was ripped out. They are fantastic and cheap too. We still use it regularly as it does the best roast potatoes 

Sorry I just read the thread properly, you are probably getting you new oven soon anyway ha ha

No no, we too have have been loaned the use of a halogen cooker, we used it for cooking a full chicken and and roast potatoes... however..  our roast potatoes certainly didn't come out like yours sounded.... 🤔 (Simon is the roast potatoes king in a proper oven). So, give us some of your halogen roast potatoes tips, we got over a week to go for our cooker lol
