DPA Microphones has acquired a majority share of Vienna-based brand Austrian Audio. Together, the brands will develop “a broader product range” and continue to “address the high end of the market”.

Currently, DPA is a leading manufacturer within several Miniature Microphone categories while Austrian Audio has a wide range of Large Diaphragm Microphones. Austrian Audio will continue to launch products under its own name, but will work in partnership with DPA...
