I'd like to see the Vinyl stay personally I think there is far more skill involved.

Bollocks comment mate. How is vinyl mixing more "skilful"?

 

Ok, there may be some 'arbitrary' complications. E.g.

* record pressings vary in volume so you have to compensate the gain;

* the hole at the centre varies in tightness so you have to compensate for this when you touch the record;

* if you're not careful the needle jumps;

* record boxes are bloody heavy;

etc etc.

 

But if DJing is all about making it difficult for yourself, why not mix with a blindfold on and your hand tied behind your back?
