Hey people,

I've arrived in Beijing. I just visited Tiananmen Square and its f*cking massive. About the size of 90 football fields!! Anybody interested in doing a round the world tour should really consider China on their list. Take it easy people.

Hello Alex dude !

I SO want to go to China, as I have stated to you before. It's just 'different' hence me wanting to go to something completly NEW. In a few years time. yes.gif

I should have a few tales to tell when I eventually leave this place. I'm having loads of problems trying to book a flight online. They don't offer e-tickets to any airports in China and they refuse to DHL them over here as well, even though I offered to pay!

I'm probably going to hang around here for a couple of weeks. There's plenty to see in this city (Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square etc...) I'm living in a really run down part of Beijing but the locals are ok with westerners. This is still a one-party state so its pretty strict around here. You can't access any of the foreign news services over the Internet.

Hi Alex

Sorry to but in, try and see if the airline will do you a ticket on departure.

That is what I have to do for my colleagues when the selected airline do not issue e-tickets, or does the company that you work for have a dedicated travel agents that they use ? - they should be able to sort that problem out for you ...

Travelocity, Expedia, Opodo, they're all being difficult and they won't issue a ticket on departure. Not sure what I'm going to do. The American based sites won't let me book a ticket because my Credit Card is billed in the UK. Thanks for the advice though.
