baffles me why these paintings get stolen,ok i know it`s robbed to order,so the thieves get a decent cut...but what does the buyer do with it,aint like he can hang it up or ebay it...

I always wondered that too!!

That would make sense.

 

Another version of the scream was stolen about ten years ago and later recovered. That time it was stolen so that a ransom dould be demended for it, but it all went a bit wrong.

 

To be honest I don't particularly rate Munchs work..... I'm much better.

Its a horrible painting, looks like it was done by a child.

 

Thats ART for you though isnt it.
