It has been a bit quiet, but then again it's summer and ppl aren't around as much...

its quiet everywhere at the moment

Lots of people were in an eggy last week and don't post on here anymore

 

that's why it's so quiet

this board has been dying for months

 

needs some new life in it

 

and since there are less people coming on now i think that we don't need quite so many forums on here as there currently are. makes it seem slower than it is

 

you could cut down general to just 4 forums again easily (put jokes, smut and even possibly FAO into general chat for eg), events to just 3 (amalgamate reviews and photolinks as they are essentially going to be doing the same thing)

i know that, but until there are more people on here again i think it would be better to cut back a bit on the forums to give the illusion to being a bit busier

Well without naming names, a new member was kinda picked on, which ultimately ended up with her leaving.

 

That seemed to be the catalyst for another member to point out some things that he didnt like about a few other members which also resulted in them and a few others leaving and the said person to be banned.

No, the forums stay. Why change the content of the site just because lesser Members are posting / coming online ?

 

The idea of having CTW Cards was to give out to new people to join the site, and that is what will happen.

Yes.

 

People have left / been banned / put in the mod que.

 

Tghat is why it has been quiet.

 

Still, new Members would be good on this site anyways.

I don't get that much time to come onto the board as I only have a PC in work and have to pick my moments !!

 

I do think it is true that a lot of people are away at the mo and maybe when the holiday season is over more people will post.

 

Concerning the new member that left because of insults, if it is the 'girl' that I am thinking of, to be honest with you I found her posts quite offensive and worrying, not the ideal way to be if you are trying to join in friendly conversations, especially when you mostly only talk about sex, underage sex at that and disgusting grave robbing stories, I really did think that was vile and not a funny story at all !! Good riddance I say !
