Southend United have reached their first cup final in their club history following a 4-3 aggregate success over Colchester United in the Southern Area final of the LDV Vans Trophy.

Leading 3-2 from the first leg against their Essex rivals, The Shrimpers would have been confident that a solid performance at Roots Hall would book their ticket to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium next month.

Well done to Southend on this one, they are shite and I dont support them in any way but its good for them after another shite season!
