As Camden Palace is a listed building and going to be used mostly for live acts I imagine that the renovations won't be particularly ritzy at all but keeping in period with the building. It's aslo good that there's another big live act venue in London. I'm sure they'll also be able to put one off club nights there like Frantic on special occassions.

Doubt it, it's a rock venue for most now I can't imagine seeing another Hard House/Trance night now. I don't see what is so good about it there are loads of live act venues all over. I mean just up the road you got the legendary Forum up in Kentish Town.

Yeah I think the Forum is a much better live venue than Camden Pal...I don't see why they can't just use that instead! Keep Camden doing what it does best, having raves! And when you consider just how many people they get in on most Frantic nights there, I can't see how they think they can make more money from having 70s, 80s nights there?! I guess maybe they're hoping it'll attract more of a pisshead crowd who'll spend more at the bar...
