Anyone like it ?

I absolutley HATE it.

Brings tears to my eyes, I am so scared of it.

Walked over Brighton Pier yesterday, hated every minute of it (apart from eating in the Pier Resturaunt and going in the arcades).

I aint scared of heights but walking over the pier knowing I can see the sea under my feet - makes me queezy and makes my stomach feel all funny.

the one thing that scares the shit out of me is swimming in deep water

I think it's related to playing that old computer game, Flashback, where the character gets grabbed by the ankles by nasty slimy plants and pulled down, right at the start

and the fact my brother tried to drown me on every family holiday for about 10 years

Eeeek !

I am also afraid of swimming over deep water (the sea, not a swimming pool lol) - hence why I will never swim that far out EVER.

I remember when I went to Magaluf last year and James and I went snorkling over sopme deep water. Wasn't dangerous in the slightest, but looking down over those rocks with what-ever-is-under-there, is scarey as f*ck !

I would always dare myself to see how far out I could go - and when I eventualy got to far, my breath would feel asd though it has been taken away from me I am so frightened - then dart back to shallow end asap. It would make my heart beet 10 to the dozen.

Saying, that, even watching films with people swimming / trapped over deep water makes me pant and feel out of breath with fright !

lol.

Haha, last time I went to Spain I got swept out to sea on my airbed by a strong undercurrent, it was interesting to watch the shore gradually shrink away from me no matter how hard I paddled

bloody fit lifeguard saved me though wub.gif

I like sea and water related anecdotes

it's probably cos recently with all the storms, all the structure of the piers has been getting weakened, so in future they might collapse when a starfish bumps into them smile.gif

Funnily enough, I had a lovely view opposite the hotel we stayed in down Brighton at the w/e.

The old collapsed and rusted, old Pier.

Pretty.
