Benjamin. You may have been wrong about Cat Deeley. But on this occasion you are absolutely right.

 

Macs suck. Even the newest ones. Superficially they are very pretty, lots of gratuitous animation, blah blah ... but they are loathsome to use 'in anger'.

 

In particular, developing applications for a Mac is an altogether much less pleasant experience than development for Windows. Oh and Macs are nowhere near as fast (in practice) as Apple make out. And they're massively overpriced.

 

Give me a well-built PC with Windows XP any day. It's not perfect, but it's as good as it gets.

Use for Apple Macs.

 

1. To throw out of a window onto the head of a foe if no anvil is readily available.

2. Door stops.

 

 

some1 i was speaking to in college said they thought all the see thru plastic casings looked nice etc

 

the truth is it looks placcy, taccy and like a childs toy, not a professional piece of kit like they are trying to make
