A friend of mine has actually offered to let me come to his studio and work on some stuff, as he is is learning to become an engineer........... so recon thats the best bet, as it's free and will give me an insight before i have to pay.

 

Chris- Tinrib studios sounds amazing, i know he sold alot of kit as my old flat mate had this friend at work who saw and add in loot for studio equipement, he went round to the address and bought loads of stuff (this bloke was a rocker btw) but the bloke he brought the gear off gave him loads of his own cd's to show what type of stuff can be made............ They were all captin tinrib cd's, so it must have been him.

Obviously my flat mate took all the cd's from his work mate and described him to confirm it was him..........................small world hey

The going rate varies from £100-£250 for an engineer.

You also get different deals..like some is only for one working day, some over a weekend, some charge u per track, or untill the track is finished etc etc.

i've just booked a day in barry distons studio in coventry and its gonna cost me £150 but that includes engineer - watch out.....banging tune on the way!!
