having watched the rest of it, actually quite enjoyed it, it wasn't just 'idiots' in front of the camera...(thats barrymores my kind of ppl)

 

think the programs themselves are gonna be much better than any big talent produced at the end tho.

Its quite amusing however it makes me laugh that one minute Simon is saying "be serious this is X factor and we are looking for someone like Maddona" and the next he as well as the others think its ok to let through some 60 year old woman who really is distinctly average as my old grandma could sing better than her.

 

Just seems like a series to make a shed load more cash rather than something 'serious' - that said its very entertaining and I prefer it to pop idle - just wish they would admit that its just a laugh and not something to take seriously.

maybe the ingredient that they've changed, is the watching is now more about the judges and the judging, than the talent
