What do you think to people in relationships with massive differences?

 

I am older than Tony & I feel there is no problem, however i do worry as I get older & he is still relatively young he will start seeing me as looking older, if you get me.

 

But I do feel some age gaps are daft.

 

Whats everyones opinions?

Most of my BFs have been MUCH older than me, at least 10 years or more. I just seem to have this uncanny knack of attracting older men, and I definitely find them more attractive too. My current BF is 38, i.e. 14 years older but doesn't look or act his age.

 

I don't have a problem with age gaps at all. If I really liked a guy who was a lot younger than me, then I wouldn't have issues with dating him at all. It's all about finding someone you connect with and enjoy being around.

 

Maybe some age gaps are too ridiculous though, like Anna Nicole Smith and her old geeza!

as long as the age difference between you and Tony isn't getting larger , wouldn't worry about it.

 

in the same way as pantene is right for one person and head n shoulders is right for someone one else.....i'm sure it's "whatever works"

If you are both for eachother, then numbers shoudn't even come into the equasion imo.

 

Some age gaps are, as someone said, daft, but then, why should it matter ? Really ?

It shouldnt, obviously 14 & 29 is not ideal, but any fool knows this, but sensible adult ages it should not matter at all

However. If a 29 yr old and a 14 yr old meet each other, and 8 years down the line at 22 and 37 they decide that it's what they want....?

yeh of course Phil, I know it is also hard to judge as some kids, shall we say mature alot quicker etc, but below the legal age of being able to have sex, you must draw a line eh

I agree, and this is why the majority of the people in this world disagree with relationships with OLDER men and vice versa under the age of 16, because of the set law.

 

I feel strong about disagreeing with most ages under the age of 18 dating / having a relationship with someone ALOT older, simply because they are teens / children, who are still growing up / maturing / their bodies are developing.

 

But as you say Lisa, some children grow up and are clued up about life, ALOT quicker than some other people of their age.

yes, what i meant was that a 20 yr old may meet the 'right' 15 year old. But they might not get it on till she reaches the legal age.

yes Phil, I know eaxactly what you ment & yes thats fine, as long as they wait until the younger one is matured etc
