I saw it, I think its really wrong. Did you see the bit when he was a toddler and they had him doing sit ups on the chair, must be funking up the poor little mites head

yeh & with that huge weight too, I think his dad had him on steroids you know

 

& what was it they said his muscle fat was just under 1% or something & most people dye with 1%??

 

I hate parents that are pushy & clearly using the child to line their own pockets

There was something definitely odd about that. I know the kid enjoyed it and good to introduce health and fitness at young age and all that - but that poor kid lost his entire childhood. No child should have that sort of pressure - physically or mentally.

 

Was it just me...or did he seem surreally mature for his age though? I think that unsettled me more than anything else

yes he did Helen, but in saying that the lad knew of nothing else, he had no childhood friends etc, its wrong, especially to push him the way he did & as for the mother & her ridducals stretching methods, that surely is no good for an infant, as babies bones etc are more flexable but the damamge it could cause in later life like osteoporosis etc

mind u..it wouldn't have got onto prime time national tv if it was "local kid goes to gym for second time"

I worry about any parents who have that sort of level of expectation from their child.

 

It makes you wonder if there's something lacking from their own lives if they feel the need to use & abuse somebody else for their own perverted sense of achievement.

(Does anybody remember the sketch from Series 3 of The League of Gentlemen, with the posh parents taking their daughter's school concert rather too seriously...?)

OTT Muscle men really put me off. I don't see the attraction / turn on / sexual arousal.

yep it's grim if they are too defined etc Same as muscley ladys
