Well what do you do for a living and do you enjoy it. As there are so many posts on here with people complaining about their job. But is it a hate love relationship?

 

Personally i'm a System Administrator / Web Developer

Medical secretary - have phases of hating it - usually when theres not much work on it gets boring tho at the mo my boss is away and theres shitloads and i got the office to myself to come on here - cept i'm snowed under with work n havnt got the time really! Just been told I've got 3 weeks leave (they've cocked up! ) left b4 April so reasonably happy after that news! Means I wont have to do a sickie the week afta tidy w/ender this yr

I work in advertising and work on the adverts for BMW, MINI and BUPA. I absolutely love it. Great people, great office and location, totally laid back, fun work and constant piss ups here (as some of you may have noticed with a few posts at Crimbo). Only time I get bored or fed up is when it's quiet and nothing much to do. Oh and always more money helps!

I do loads of stuff within my role, but my job title is

 

Contact Centre Analyst, basically i analyse call statistics and report these to the board, while also managing over 120 people

I am in the final year of doctorate, researching into the potential use of entomogenous fungi as a biological control agent against the Ixodes tick.

I run a hedge fund investing in Japanese stocks.

 

Basically we try to make money trading shares whether stocks/markets go up and down...

 

it's a good job, but sometimes I hate it (like now when we are losing very large sums of money).

 

Upside is it's intellectually challenging, I go to Japan four times a year (off on saturday) and pay is performance-related.

I just do a bit of cleaning now, til the kids are a wee bit older, but I am a dental nurse & will probably go back to that in a year or two!!
