Debbie who used to post on here as "Squirrel" has asked me to post the following warning for the females living in the area...

 

"A friend of friend's flat mate got attacked outside her flat the other day

(opposite the Duke of Devonshire pub in Balham). The police are treating it

as an attempted rape. She was pulled over a wall and pinned to a car and it

was only a taxi coming into the car park that disturbed the attacker.

 

The police told her that there have been 5 rapes in the space of last week

in that area (one of which was on Clapham Common) and that they suspect it

is all the same man."

    Hope she's OK, thats an awful thing to have happen to you, she must be in a right state. Thats only up the road from me too. Hope they catch the bastard!
