just looked on the on line list & saw googlebot posting in dj & production??

 

Have they hidden talents then

sorry to show my total ignorance, but what is a googlebot? i've been wondering that for a while

Nic I think its just part of the system, a mini in built robot if you like but I could be wrong

It's just a Member, but not real - or sumthing along those lines

Yes, they are getting quite clever - they are able to parse the thread and work out (roughly) what the subject is, and then from a pre-determined list of past threads on this and other sites its able to post its conclusion on the matter - well, nearly - as you will see it never gets to actually finishing it's own post as it gets confused.

 

By 2007 I would imagine all message boards on the net will be run and used by bots and there will be no need for human posting as all the questions and answer combinations would have been thought of
