Brixton Academy Photo Albums

The Brixton Academy (also known as O2 Academy Brixton), is a famous live music venue located in the Lambeth district of Brixton, in South West London.

It opened in 1929 as a cinema, it transformed into a discotheque in 1972 and finally became a concert hall in 1983. It's owned by the Academy Music Group (AMG).

It's considered one of London's leading music venues and has a capacity of roughly 2,315 people.

Reopening: After a tragic incident in December 2022, the venue reopened in April 2023 with improved safety measures.
