  1. Dance Valley, Amsterdam (7th August 2004)

Dance Valley is an annual electronic dance music festival held in Spaarnwoude, Netherlands. It's nicknamed "The Woodstock of Dance" due to its focus on peace, love, and unity within the dance music community.
Dance Valley was first held in 1995, making it one of the longest-running dance music festivals in the world. Back then, it only attracted around 8,000 people. By 2001, that number had skyrocketed to 90,000 attendees!
What sets Dance Valley apart is that it was the first festival to bring electronic dance music from nighttime events into the light of day. The festival boasts multiple stages, each with its own distinct sound and subgenre of electronic dance music. Combined with its eye-catching stage designs and various performers, Dance Valley creates an immersive and unforgettable experience for attendees.
While Dance Valley is all about dance music, it caters to a wide audience by featuring a variety of electronic subgenres, not just one specific style. The main stage tends to feature big-name trance DJs, but there are up to a dozen smaller stages dedicated to genres like electro, Eurodance, hardstyle, and even experimental electronic music.
