I have been involved in the music industry for nrly 12yrs covering Dj,Producer,Promoter,Label owner. I first got into the music scene back in the day of oldskool hardcore being inspired by the likes of Carl Cox,Dj Sy,Slipmatt and the like over the yrs my musical styles have changed but i believe this has made me a much better musician, After all variety is the spice of life! I dj under the name RUSH3PH when playing HARDHOUSE/STYLE which i was given when i moved into the 3party scene, this has educated me so much as i have only been used to playing in clubs & venues. I also use the name MR RUSH when playing or producing HARDCORE which to me is my roots and shall be a part of me forever. My djing style is like that of MARK E.G hyperactive nutters!!!. I dontmind what i play as long as it gives me and the crowd a RUSH! (pardon the pun) i have always been one to experiment blending different genres together for example HARDHOUSE & OLDSKOOL HARDCORE. I've never been one to prepare a set as you never know what the crowd are gonna get it on to, you can play one tune one night and the roof comes off, and then play the same tune the following wk and the crowd dont feel it. Part of the learning curve and i belive that is the main ingredient for becoming a great performer there are so many out there that can beatmix really well but when it comes to the big stage they lose it. On the production side of things im signed to F.B.I Records part of the NU-NRG COLLECTIVE. I have only produced 5 tracks but i have been lucky and they have all been signed some are out some are awaiting release. As these have all been Hardcore releases i have decided to have a go at something else. I am flying to italy to do a Hardhouse/Hardstyle rmx of one of my tunes at the beginning of April with the Italian DJ VORTEX - STIK RECORDS. This is a new venture for me but i have always been up for the challenge and cant wait to get the ideas down on DAT also in the pipeline is my own label which will be launched later in the year. I have always been one for taking a risk in life and have invested alot of money into starting my own events starting on the 18th June, i have to admit to you all that im very nervous but i guess that's natural. Are there any other promoters on here that can calm me nerves!!! I have decided to launch a brand new night in milton keynes and it will also be the launch party for my new label G.B.H Records and to help me launch this i have asked my good friend DJ VORTEX to come and dj for the 1st time in the u.k.On top of that i have booked one of the most hardworking DJ's in the scene today the lovely LISA LASHES. I have also asked the owner of F.B.I RECORDS DJ IMPACT to play an alternative set being HARDTRANCE to his usual HARDCORE set. I feel that the 3party scene has leant a big hand in producing some of the best DJ's i have ever heard so i have also asked MATT STORM - PROJECT STORM & RYAN H - SURGE SOUNDSYSTEM and they will be facing off in a B2B battle. Im still booking DJ's and will update you asap. Right onto the finale this is a golden opportunity for you budding dj's (NO PROFESSIONALS MAY ENTER) to shine through in front of over 2000 people and a possible residency.
