  6. Hi James If you want a decent webhost, try xsession.com They are ace. They get most of their business through word of mouth. They're a really small (in terms of people) company, so you're always talking to someone who know what they're doing when you email support. Costs etc here. Chat soon. ~Iain
  7. I've written this over the past couple of days when I really should've been working on other stuff. Oh well, the music must come first I suppose. Anyhoo. If you fancy it, download it. If you like seeing Terry Francis play, you may like it. It's a bit Dave Mothersoley. Download it from here. Cheers, ~Cupboardy
  8. Brilliant.. Just brilliant. I think it's going to inspire me for my next mix to be more techy. I have to say, the standard of mixes on here now is something else. I have downloaded some mixes on other sites and I wasn't sure if people were taking the piss or were genuinely that shit. A favorite was someone doing some garage MCing over some cheesy chart trance. Is there track list? I love the track at around 42'. Out of interest, how did you record it? I use 1210s, Pioneer CDs, Stanton mixer -> audiophile 2496 -> cool edit. I find it works really well for me, but I want to know if peeps do anything else. ~cupboardy

There also a thread on this here.
  10. It's not downloading for me I did a right-click, save as.. It just hangs. edit: oh it's coming!
  11. It's ace. Simple as. If you like techno you'll love it. Techno mixes can be a bit funny, some of them are just a bit poo with no emotion in them. This is sublime. You can also tell that he's working like a trojan. Some of the mixes are really quick. Are you going to put it online Andy?
  12. QUOTE (Mr_Happy @ Mar 12 2004, 20:37) QUOTE (cupboardy @ Mar 12 2004, 12:20) *YOU CANNOT USE A CREDIT CARD* thats me buggered then You can however phone up and book tix then send a cheque. Even if you don't have a cheque book, you can request a one from your credit card co. At least Barclaycard do cheques. They have to be over a certain amount tho'. £100? but that's ok because 2 tix are £230ish
  13. Woo! Glastonbury. It's coming. 25th, 26th and 27th June 2004. Tickets are going on sale on April 1st. *YOU CANNOT USE A CREDIT CARD* Information here. I had my Glastonbury cherry popped last year. If you've ever been to Creamfields or Homelands and enjoyed them, you will love Glastonbury. Please bare in mind that last year, the tickets sold in about 18 hours (110,000!). It will probably be a little more relaxed this year as tickets are limited to 2 per person to stop the touts. But don't count on it.
  14. Hmm. Asking 'what type of music do you like'? then only giving hard house or trance as options isn't going to do anything for the problem about putting people off CTW who like other types of music. A more diplomatic way of putting it could be 'given the choice between these styles of hard dance..'. Most of us here are passionate about music. Don't assume that we are all passionate about the same sort or set of genres. (for the record, I like hard house, done well).
  15. Personally I think if you are inlcuding tracks in your mixes that are owned by record companies who give a crap and wouldn't be happy for the promotion, your tunes are too commercial. Currently the PRS are trying to get it so clubs/DJs have to pay royalty to them if the tracks are played in a club! Madness. There should be an opt-out for record companies to waive that fee whilst retaining copyright on the music. James - why don't you just get people to host the files themselves. It's only going to cost you in huge amounts of storage and bandwidth. It's a nice idea but I think it could only lead to problems.
