  1. So, we're over half way through the year and well into those summer months, and what a great time we've had in 2008 so far? Ibiza, festivals, barbeques and general naughtiness have all had a part to play, and so have the Puzzle Project parties... As we head towards our last party of our 3rd year, we're not going to let things die down, not in the least. August 8th sees some fantastic talent gracing the Puzzle decks (no surprises there then) in the shape of 2 acts who have been instrumental in forming the shape of modern dance music in recent years... Headlining the night we have super-producer, Ali Wilson! Back on home territory (#1 resident at the legendary Milk, as those of us old enough will remember) after a good portion of time, one of Carl Cox's favourite producers and all round party monster Ali will be showcasing his world dominating sound in an all too rare UK appearance! Ali has either worked with or gained support from just about every headlining name in the trance and hard dance scenes, and continues to gain massive support from the global dance scene in general! For those of you not familiar with the sound of now, check out the latest releases on Tekelec to see what all the fuss is about. Or even better, come and witness Mr Wilson's sound up close and personal! We also welcome back some of the hottest property on the hard dance scene in the shape of MDA and Spherical this month. Matt and Mark have, as we all know made a serious impression on the hard dance scene, with some massive gigs under their belt - think Tidy Weekenders to street festivals in Europe! They've had releases and remixes on all the main labels, and are in constant demand for their studio expertise, repeatedly joining other big guns like Alf Bamford and Steve Hill to create gold in the studio. It's been around a while, and it's maturing nicely, but welcome to the future anyway... Our third guest for the evening offers DJing talent far beyond that which has ever been seen before. With countless hours of experience playing out at such quality events as In The Bedroom, Lounge Fever, Saturday Morning Crack-On and That House Party to name but a few, it's high time this DJ shone at London's best loved eclectic monthly! We heard the demo and believed in them from the first mix... we couldn't turn down the chance to book them for their debut at Puzzle Project, could we? But just who is this walking bucket of skill? Well we don't quite know yet... but it could be anybody! Read below for full details… On top of all this, as per usual we have the exceptional residential talents of Libra 9 (aka. Phil Lankester), Matt (run, Forest run) Church, IDJ’s Gordon Darley, and Impact Digital main man, Ben Bennett! For our last party before we turn the grand old age of three, we thought it high time we ran our first ever DJ competition to unleash he or she who could become the next big thing on the world. The competition is open to all DJs of any level who play anything from house, breaks or psy, through to trance, hardstyle, hard dance and even freeform... How to enter… This couldn’t be simpler; just send a link (MUST be for download via yousendit or your own webs pace – we will not listen to streams and will not accept mixes as attachments to e-mail as it is too time consuming for us, sorry) by Monday 28th July. Links to be sent to competition@puzzle-project.com. The winner will be announced on 5th August. Please specify the following in your entry e-mail: - DJ name - Real name - Style - Website (if any) - Contact details including e-mail address and phone number - Date mixed and on what equipment - Any previous DJing experience The prize… Not only does the competition winner get to play at this event, but they will also be interviewed for our website and mail-out, gaining them some great exposure. On top of that, the winning demo will be forwarded to 5 top UK promoters along with the interview to help them on their way… can’t say fairer than that can we?! So there you have it people, action packed or what?! Not content with all that though, we wanted to let you know some huge news regarding our birthday in September. That news is that we have confirmed BK, Darren Tate and Organ Donors, and Steelo to join us. More details coming very soon… Puzzle Project Club 414 414 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London, SW9 8LF Friday 8th August 2008 10pm - 6am Ali Wilson MDA Spherical DJ Competition Winner Matt Church Phil Lankester pres “Libra 9” LIVE Gordon Darley Ben Bennett Tube = Brixton (Victoria Line) Rail = Brixton mainline station Bus - Main Daytime buses = 2,3,35,37,45,59,109,118,133,159,196,250,322,333,345,355,415,432,P4,P5 Night buses = N2,N3,N35,37,N133,N159,250,689,690
  2. Well, well, well, what a corker April’s party was? As has been expressed to us by many of you, the music was top-notch all night long. As promised, something different was delivered by Francesco Caci, with his sound proving to be a hit on the night, this is definitely something you’ll be hearing more of from us in the future! Massive thanks also to Nick Rafferty who squeezed in the time to play for us before jetting off to Spain to look after the massive Cream event out there, along with Elvis who delivered a classic set like he did every month when he was a resident at the 414. it was almost like he never left! Also, massive props to Victoria Ling who played a great set, this little one is certainly a name to watch out for in the future. But that’s enough back slapping for now, as we are sure all you really want is to feast your eyes and ears on the selection of DJ talent we have lined up for our next party on Friday the 9th of May! Headlining we a have true hard dance hero; former A&R man at Nukleuz, head honcho of Riot! Recordings and www.trackitdown.net, the mastermind behind the hard dance awards and all round party animal… Of course, we can only be talking about Mr Ed Real! After personally approaching us for another set at Puzzle Project, Ed will be tearing a new arsehole into our beloved 414 with what promises to be a rip-roaring psy-trance set exclusive for Puzzle-Project which we can’t wait for. Make sure you don’t miss this exclusive journey through the most mesmerising music known to man! Our next guest is another infamous party professional and the brains behind the new and already fast rising label, Diablo Traxx. The undisputed saviour of that party at SeOne last year, Ajay, will be gracing our presence and showing off tracks from Diablo Head Office as well as (he’d hope) causing untold trouble on the dance-floor… All hail the ginger whippet! Completing the roster of guest tonight, we welcome back the infamous Dean Zone. Making some serious noise on the scene of late with his European Hard Trance sound as well as scoring a massive hit with the award winning party Magnetix of late, he will be closing the night the only way he knows how; with an almighty bang! As usual you can count on our trusty residents to provide you with all the fillings needed to make this the perfect recipe; after drawing massive amounts of praise for his closing set last month, Phil Lankester returns to showcase more of his Psy Trance sound that is becoming a firm favourite with the Puzzle massive. Ben Bennett will be back once again to show just why Steve Blake and Phil Reynolds appointed him head of A & R for Impact recordings, along with resident Techno head Gordon Darley and the king of all things Trance, Matt Church. Don’t forget that the official Puzzle Project after party reFre5h will also be on hand if you still want more come 6am, WITH DJs Ashley James, Kevster, Agent Fierce and Timmy Whiz! 3. Firstly, a massive thanks to those who braved the wet weekend before Easter to come and see us last month. We’re sure you’ll agree that John Phantasm rocked the show like nobody else - awesome stuff! As the summer draws that bit closer though, it’s tome to look forward and not back to the months ahead towards the usual class line-ups you’ve come to expect from us. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you April’s line up…. Some of you may already have heard who our headliner for April’s party is, we know as we’ve had many excited folk chewing our ears off about how delighted they are. Fans of hard house are in for a real treat with this one as we present to you on of the original Sundissential residents, and a man that we all know of; whether it be from seeing him playing sets all around the globe, or listening to numerous CDs mixed by the fellow. That’s right kids, Nick Rafferty is coming to London to visit the Puzzle Project faithful!! Frantic’s busybody Elvis is next on the list. With a fantastic knowledge of the harder sounds and as a 414 veteran (he used to be resident at Zoology), this is definitely not a set to be missed. Next up is certainly a fresh face on the London scene; Franco Caci is this months warm-up genius. Trained at one of the leading DJ academy’s in the country, and with a true obsession with dance music, we’re confident that you don’t want to miss this set. The last guest to be joining us for the night is again no stranger to the 414 (both as a clubber and DJ); the lovely Victoria Ling. On top of all this, of course we have the usual eclectic antics from residents Phil Lankester, Matt Church, Gordon Darley and Ben Bennett. Puzzle Project Friday 11th April 22:00 – 06:00 Nick Rafferty Elvis Franco Caci Victoria Ling Phil Lankester Matt Church Gordon Darley Ben Bennett And for those of you who don’t want to go home come 6am, Puzzle Project are very proud to present our new official after party, reFre5h with Alex Mac and Zeebra Kid, Ben Bennett, Phil Lancaster and Timmy Whiz taking you right through to Saturday afternoon! Don’t be the missing piece! - www.puzzle-project.com
  4. Puzzle Project – Friday 8th Feb 2008 is looking to be a massive year in the world of Puzzle Project. Not content with January’s astonishing party where the lads from Twist, Presence and Harder tore the 414 apart (by the way, a massive thanks to all that braved the rubbish weather to come long to that one!!), we’re about to set an even higher standard for February… Jordan Suckley (Gosdskitchen/Gatecrasher) is a name hot on the lips of everybody in the trance scene, and it’s really not surprising once you have seen the man in action at most of the country’s main events. He’s been one to watch for the last couple of years and we’re proud to invite him down as one of this months headliners. We also give you Addiction Digital Label Manager & Migmag future hero; Olly Perris! Along side Olly, we welcome with very open arms, producer of the moment, Impact & Addiction favourite, SQ providing his blistering Live PA! Tru-D caught the eyes of Ben Bennett and Gordon Darley in the summer of last year with a refreshingly good demo, and an interesting take on the hard dance sound with her production work. She’s already been making a good name for herself outside of the capital, and we’re more than happy to help her cement her name as one to seek out within the M25! Of course it goes without saying that you can expect residents Gordon Darley, Phil Lankester, Ben Bennett and Matt Church to rock the 414 with their usual mischievous behaviour and unique sets. Here’s to 2008, and keeping the scene fresh and exciting… Puzzle Project @ Club 414, London 2200-0600 Friday 8th Feb Jordan Suckley SQ Live Olly Perris Tru-D Ben Bennett Gordon Darley Phil Lankester Matt Church Entry: £8 before midnight, £12 after Members: Free before midnight, £8 after, must show membership card at the door Paying Guestlist: £6 before midnight, £10 after. 5. ***Puzzle Project – 14/12 – Club 414*** We’re coming up to the last Puzzle Project of 2007, and what a fantastic year it’s been with parties alongside Twist and Frantic, and going monthly again. Our residents have been getting great praise from all over London and we continue to go from strength to strength. If this isn’t reason to celebrate, then we don’t know what is. Thanks to all of you that came down to see us battle it out with our overseas visitors. It's safe to say that Charly, Nazzz, BenRG and the rest of the Dutch crew smashed it. It’s been ages since the 414 has felt an atmosphere like that! December can mean only one thing, and that’s one last massive party before we see in the New Year. To help us see out this rollercoaster of a year, we’ve once again put together a line-up fit for any venue to play alongside our eclectic residents Phil Lankester, Gordon Darley, Ben Bennett and Matt Church. Headlining this month is Polysexual’s Super-Resident, Mark H. Mark is known across hard dance land for his relentlessly uplifting style with enough energy to put the shits up Sellafield Power-plant! A string of international gigs and sets up and down the UK made it difficult for us catch him for Puzzle Project, but we finally got hold of him. Christmas has certainly come early!! We’ve all heard of this next DJ, whether it’s been one of his seamless Euro infused trance sets, or his constant preaching about German filth. We welcome Dean Zone back to do what he does best as he celebrates his 25th Birthday in style! Happy birthday Dean! JFrantik is a name not everybody will be familiar with. Unless of course you’ve had any involvement in the hard dance scene down under, where this lad made quite the name for himself before moving to the UK. Set to be one of the firm favourites within the new producer ranks, we’re proud to give Jared his first set in the UK. Hi Freak1c (aka Ian Jay) is a name hot on peoples’ lips at the moment. Not many of the new producers coming through at the moment can boast a string of releases crossing genres. Ian however can, and will be showing us at Puzzle Project just how bright the future is! Our final guest is Tom Marksman, resident and promoter from Hard Tranzlation down in Dorset. We’re really looking forward to seeing how it’s done in the West, and this man is one of the best! Don’t be the missing piece – spend this cold winters evening in with a puzzle! www.puzzle-project.com Puzzle Project Friday 14th December 2007 Club 414 414 Coldharbour Lane Brixton London SW9 8LF Entry: £8 before midnight, £12 after Members: Free before midnight, £8 after, must show membership card at the door Paying Guestlist: £6 before midnight, £10 after. 6. At Puzzle Project HQ, we’re getting ready for an invasion. Not the kind of invasion that really scares us to be honest, but certainly on that is getting us all excited and prepared for action. We’re about to get all international on you as we invite Dutch hard dance party, DDOD (aka Dawn of Dance) to cross the North Sea and take up residence at 414 for the evening. Not many promotions can boast that their residents have played truly massive events like Dance Valley, but DDOD are certainly one of those, and with a wealth of promotion, DJing and production experience behind them all, we’ve really got our work cut out keep up with these guys. Representing the Dutch in the DDOD corner we have: Charly Nazzz The Dawn BeNRG MvDJ Raine And our very own residents, representing the UK and Puzzle Project we have the mighty: Phil Lankester Gordon Darley Matt Church As always at Puzzle Project, we like to push the boundaries of dance music, so we have got a few surprises up our sleeves for this event! Get there early to get your free mixes, free glow sticks and bangles, free membership and quite possibly the best environment you could find yourself in. Our last party provoked this reaction: “When you walk up to the door you are greeted by the biggest, but friendliest bouncers I've met yet. Once inside the smiling and friendly crowd make you feel instantly at ease and before you know it you can do nothing else but find your spot on the dance floor and stay there (Just in case you miss anything!!).” “What can I say, awesome, I have never been to Puzzle before, for some unknown reason, and what a fab little party it is too....... Great welcoming promotors, and punters, the vibe down there is second to none!!” “There seriously is no other place in London, that plays the driving hard trance that Puzzle does, or has the most friendly family atmosphere, everyone so welcoming, no totally messy people, everyone happy, and loving every minute, that's what I liked about it” Need we say more? Puzzle Project Friday 9th November 2007 22:00 – 06:00 Club 414, Coldharbour Lane, Brixton Entry: £8 b4 midnight // £10 after Members: FREE b4 midnight // £8 after Concessions: £5 b4 midnight // £8 after Please arrive early to guarantee entry. info@puzzle-project.com for more info! www.puzzle-project.com
  7. Happy birthday to us, Happy birthday to us, Happy birthday to Puzzle-Project, Happy birthday to us…. It’s time to reach for the balloons and streamers people, as one of London’s most consistent smaller parties delivers its second birthday on Friday 14th September 2007!! That’s 730 days (give or take a couple, of course), 24 months, 14 dog years, downright middle-aged compared to most parties that last in London, and we’re celebrating in style this time around, with another line-up fit for a vast cavern of a main room. We’ll be cleaning up this year with very special headliners, Tidy DJs! Sam Townend (Tidy label manager) and Deano have been proving themselves to be the next movers and shakers in the hard house scene of late, with a string of gigs countrywide at the most prolific of events. It’s peak time hard house badness we’re after on this one, and that is exactly what we’re going to get!! Look out for the exclusive free CD from these guys coming soon… Next up is a very talented chap by the name of The Colonel. He wowed the judges last year at the Tidy/DJMag competition final that even though there were other DJs taking part, there really was no competition. A truly talented young man, with an astonishing cross section of harder beats, that we can’t wait to let loose on the Puzzle decks. We pride ourselves at Puzzle Project HQ with having a great team behind us. But as any American college football team will tell you; you aren’t worth a tickle without a mascot. Our mascot is Timmy Whiz - that’s right, the nutter with glowing wristbands and the biggest smile this side of the Backstreet Kids huddled round a copy of Razzle! Nobody has given us more support and put in as much effort to enjoy their night as Timmy, who’ll be playing his favourite Puzzle anthems of the last 2 years. Dean Zone will be completing the line-up of guests with his trademark tough European Trance sound. Dean has been watched by everybody in London of late, stamping his authority on the scene with boundless enthusiasm, making the music he plays sound fresh and exciting again. We wonder which jumper he’ll be wearing…. No Puzzle Project would be complete without the residents!! Not much needs to be said about Phil Lankester, Matt Church and Gordon Darley as we all know who they are by now, and we all know that they know the Puzzle Crowd like the back of their hands, so if you’re after Phil’s Psy-crossover, Matt’s melodies, or Gordon’s Swerve, you know you’re in for a real treat! Unfortunately though, our 4th trusty resident Ben Bennett cannot make it due to international commitments. He’ll be missed! **Special Announcement** Since becoming a bi-monthly party, we’ve been hounded by our regulars to return to our monthly slot. We’re pleased to announce that from this one, we’ll be running every second Friday of the month again!! Puzzle Project 2nd Birthday Friday 14th September @ 414, Brixton // 2200-0600 Entry: £8 b4 midnight // £10 after Members/concessions: £5 b4 midnight // £8 after Please arrive early to guarantee entry. www.puzzle-project.com www.harderfaster.net www.dontstayin.com www.tidy.com www.s62djs.com
  8. Puzzle Project pres. SWAMPS 5th Birthday, feat. Organ Donors Friday May 11th 2007 @ Club 414 Since the re-launch party back in October 2006, SWAMP has gone from strength to strength, with each event surpassing the last. So it is with much excitement that we are now able to release the full details of what will surely be the best party the 414 will host this year bar none. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, Puzzle Project presents SWAMPS 5th Birthday! The Organ Donors are one of the most successful and respected acts in the hard dance scene, having shot to prominence in the first few years after the turn of the millennium. Responsible for more than their fare share of classics, (especially on Nukleuz when the label was at its peak), we thought it only right to get everyone’s favourite Audio Surgeons to perform a special 2002 Dex and FX set. If this doesn’t have you rushing to get yourself a donor card then absolutely nothing will! Joining The Organ Donors on this momentous occasion will be none other than living Club 414 legend Latex Zebra. No we haven’t taught a rubber zoo animal to mix, Latex Zebra is infact a seasoned DJ with many years of experience under his belt (although you might know him as Farmer C) and is one of the most versatile djs in London. The founder of the highly enjoyable Zoology (also at Club 414) brand and all round top bloke, Latex Zebra will be helping us usher in our 5th year in his usual style. Not content to leave it there, we also have another Club 414 regular dj to join us. Darren B (formerly Rant) is the mastermind behind Paradoxx, the SWAMP and Puzzle Project after party. Paradoxx has seen its fair share of venues, such as the Soundshaft, 3rd Base and SeOne to name a few. But we thought it was time we got Darren B involved in some SWAMP action proper for a change. Paradoxx will be providing the after party as usual! And last but by no means least we have a young fellow by the name of Timmy Whiz. Timmy can usually be found in the middle of the dance floor lit up like a Christmas tree by glow bands, glow sticks, or anything else that glows for that matter! With more energy than a Red Bull factory, Timmy Whiz pretty much epitomises what we are all about. A relatively new DJ to the scene, but with a surprisingly good CV (Koko anyone?), you’ll know when Timmy is behind the decks, because you just can’t miss him! So those are our special guest DJs this month. “But what about the residents?” I hear you cry? Well, we are thrilled to be able to say that not one SWAMP or Puzzle Project resident will be missing from this party. So you can expect to see Ben Bennett, Phil Lankester (formerly Mad Phil), Gordon Darley, Dean Zone, and Matt Church. And if you’re still want to keep going at 6am, Paradoxx will be providing the after party, from 6:30am right through to 1pm, with DJs Littleman, DJ SP, Darren B, Jon Fornow and others yet to be confirmed. So there you have it. Mare talent than every series of the X-Factor and Pop Idol combined (and not to mention better music) in one of London’s best loved venues, the Club 414 in Brixton! Also as a special treat for you, the first 50 people through the door will receive a mix CD by none other than the SWAMP king himself, Phil Lankester. So there you have it. There is quite literally nothing left to say, apart from, “I’ll see you on the dance floor”. Friday 11th May 2007, Club 414 Puzzle Project pres. 9. Well as far as 2006 is concerned, Puzzle Project has had its fill for the year. With our sights set firmly on 2007 we have compiled a line-up which will compliment the sound of the year to come. On 12th January, we make our first outing at the legendary Club 414 for 2007! Each and every DJ on our January line-up has proved themselves in 2006, from all over the UK, making their mark and proving to be forces to be reckoned with in the industry. We bring you MDA & Spherical. Two young and extremely talented individuals, who have seen a string of releases on the country’s biggest and best labels. They are about to embark on a UK tour and we are proud to help them kick it all off! Michael Dow will be joining us as his alter ego Chrysus to provide the best in cutting edge hard dance, mostly self produced! Another talent who has excelled himself in the scene well beyond his years. Andy Rise is a name well known within the world of UK hard dance now. Having played at all of the major events up and down England, from Storm, to Frantic and recently earning himself a residency for Cyberkitten. His production career is just kicking off and looks set match that of his DJing, and we’re proud to have him travelling down from sunny Blackpool to be with us tonight. Nathan M, an extremely versatile DJ who has won us over with his demo CD that is nothing short of exceptional. Up-front tracks, creativity and superb mixing skills. We challenge you to keep your feet still when he plays! Joining these titans of 2007, we bring you our very own residents! Ben Bennett. Newly signed to ReBirth Artist Management along with the likes of Roland & Wright, Lost Witness, Jan Loper and Charlie G. Ben will be playing a b2b Birthday set with another of our residents, Matt Church, who shares the same birthday as Ben. Matt Church, Resident and Promoter of Swamp and Puzzle Project has been around the world in the past few months and on his way has picked up much inspiration for a new sound. Come along to find out what these two are about! Then we bring you Mad Phil and Gordon Darley, The other promoter/residents of Puzzle Project whose sets have been praised by many of our clubbers over the past months. CD requests and downloads have been put in place purely because people can’t get enough of these lads! The 414 will have some new touches added, with CD give-aways to celebrate the new year, and, as always, oodles of free glow bands and glow sticks from our man of the moment Timmy Whiz! 10. Well, we’re back! And we know you missed us last month! Having gone bi-monthly we now have so much more time on our hands to put more effort into production, line-ups, give-aways and all those little details that make Puzzle Project the best small party in London! Continuing the trend of incredible line-ups in our intimate Club 414, we have pulled together some much loved London DJs as well as some new faces and even some blasts from the past! On Friday 10th November, we welcome back to London, none other than Caroline Banx! Dropzone’s favourite 1st lady joins Puzzle Project to give us her new sound of Psy Trance! Perhaps more commonly known in London for her banging sets some years ago, this woman’s tastes have evolved into something amazing! London legend, and the man with the famous vest, Mr Dan Madams comes to join us at the 414. Dan has been around longer than I can remember and has run his own club nights, managed his own record label and has had a huge string of releases over the years! For all those that remember why Feersum was so good, come and see Dan relive the Feersum days! Next up, a man who not of all of you will be familiar with. Sam Fury! Sam is originally from Cape Town, now living in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. A resident at Shiver, and various parties at the Howards, in Sheffield. A very talented DJ but also an avid producer who is part of the "Trance Disciples" production outfit, who have been making waves both here and in Holland. We at Puzzle Project, were blown away by the quality of his tech trance demo, we had to invite this maestro down to join us! But this isn’t all! We also welcome Adam Symbiosis and Benz to break their Puzzle Project cherries. Both huge faces on the London club scene supporting everything from House to trance and hard dance, these lads have more enthusiasm than any others we’ve had the opportunity to see, and this reflects in their incredible mixing and tune selection! Joined by the Puzzle Project residents, in the form of Mad Phil with his hugely anticipated 2hour Birthday set, and Ben Bennett and Gordon Darley doing their much talked about b2b as the Gordon Bennett Experience! We invite you all to stomp the night away to the most talented and innovative DJs on the circuit. 11. Puzzle Projects 1st Birthday Club 414, Brixton Friday 8th September 22:00-06:00 Free before 12 - £10 thereafter/£8 members One year on and we’re still going strong, proving to the London clubbing community that hard dance still has a place on the scene, and that Brixton’s infamous venue, Club 414 is still a definite contender for a great night out. Not many promotions can boast bringing some of the biggest names in the scene to one of the smaller venues in London on a regular basis, and making it work. Thankfully, we can! This birthday is not just about celebrating the past 11 months, in which we have played host to such legends Ed Real, James Lawson, Marc French, Wid and Ben, Phil Reynolds and Kevin Energy (plus many more, of course…). It’s also about welcoming in the next chapter of our Brixton adventure, a chapter which promises more big names, more nights of debauchery, and a plethora of DJs from across the UK. It’s been difficult to think up a line-up special enough to conjure up the feel of the party, and give that celebratory feel, but by George are we confident that we’ve done it… Headlining the night will be one hard trances most dynamic duos Rowland & Wright! Undoubtedly two of the most sought after producers in the scene, responsible for anthems such as Silverspeed, Laws of Progress and Hybrid, which have consistently given DJs and clubbers alike the type of musical moments we all live for. Our other guests include old skool/jungle legend Jack Knife, Dave Irvine, and Miss Fox, who have all broken peoples’ inhibitions and delighted crowds from London to Ibiza. We’re also proud to welcome back one of the original residents, Matt Church, who, fresh from 3 months away in Thailand is back, and better than ever. Of course, no Puzzle Project event would be complete without the residents, Mad Phil, Ben Bennett, and Gordon Darley playing their chosen preferred styles for the evening to guarantee you complete satisfaction on the dancefloor. 12. For 10 months now, Puzzle Project has been rocking the foundations of the 414 in Brixton, and we can assure you that our party on Friday 11th August will be no diferent! Once again, we have secured a star studded line-up to bring you the very best in hard dance, trance, electro and more... Marc French has been at the forefront of of the hard dance scene for ears now, holding residency at the legendary Heat for many of them. As somebody who needs no introduction, it is obvious tat he is one DJ we are extremely excited to have joining us. Anybody whp has not been to Twisted, or at least heard great things about it, must be a bit of a hermit - their resdent, Trevor McLachlan will be gracing the PP decks and showing us what the Twisted vibe is all about... with a string of awesome productions under his belt, and a huge amount of DJing experience behind him, it abvious why we booked him. DJ, producer, and all round top bloke K-Complex will be joining us to. Part of the Nu-Energy Collective (NEC), his name can be found on untold slabs of vinyl. A great engineer who has worked with the likes of Kevin Energy, Cally Gage, and our very own Ben Bennett and Dave Mac; Mr Complex will be showcasing his unique sound that is not to be missed! Summit's Ben Skinner will be playing back2back with long-time partner in crime Hypnosis (that's right, the guy from Greg Brookman's ALIVE PA!). Having wowed thousands of London Clubbers at events ranging from 123 to Peach with their unbridled party vibe and wizardry, we welcome them with open arms to rock the PP crowd! To top off any cake, you need a good dollop of cream, and of course, the cream at Puzzle Project comes in the form of our residents.... Mad Phil will be playing a long awaited back2back set with Gordon Darley, which is sure to be full of the unexpected, and Ben Bennett will be taking Puzzle Project mascot Timmy Whiz under his belt for his first set, with the big man, Dave Mac on warm-up duties again.
