  2. Thursday 1st February marks our second party of 2007, and after Alex & Pete from Dirtbox tore it up in style back in January, we’ve invited some more friends to co-host Inigo with us for another proper knees-up. This time around, we're welcoming the Total House Music™ talents of Illicit Audio—namely Lofty & John Cassa. From their acclaimed residency at Junk in Southampton to major events across London, these guys have been pushing the boundaries of House music for a while now, so it’s about time we brought them in! Check out their mixes and more info at the Illicit Audio website (TotalHouseMusic)—or better still, get your dancing self down to Inigo and catch them live! Our residents for the night will be Rysty, James Lewis, and that roaming vagabond, Tom Allan. As always: Cheap drinks £1 shots before 9 PM The best upfront, dirty, filthy jackin’ tracks And the friendliest, most up-for-it crowd around Best of all – it’s STILL FREE ENTRY ALL NIGHT! Set Times: 8:00 – 9:30 – Tom Allan 9:30 – 11:00 – Rysty 11:00 – 01:00 – Illicit Audio (Lofty & John Cassa) 01:00 – 02:00 – James Lewis
  3. This Thursday @ Inigo - Alex Collings brings his box of dirt to DirtyGroove! Over the past 9 years, Alex Collings has been fortunate enough to have enjoyed many fantastic experiences and a hugely successful rise up the DJ ranks. Playing a range of musical styles, from house to breaks to trance, has enabled Alex to build an impressive DJ CV. Residencies have included 2 years as the main resident DJ at Es Paradis in Ibiza, 2 years as a resident with Slinky - including 6 months in Toyko live on MTV every weekend, and a couple of monthly residencies in the states.. More recently he focused himself more on the house and electro side of things and has been developing a unique style that fuses uplifting funky house with a dirtier & tougher electro / tech-house sound. It's this dirty, sexy, and hugely danceable sound, mixed with his infectious energy behind the decks, that has brought him a full diary of guest sets across London and the rest of the UK and abroad. Alex has also recently started a new night of his own called Dirtbox which we've experienced and we give it a massive thumbs up! Dirtbox is starting a bi-monthly residency at Turnmills famous T2 this October. His friends say his success is down to a combination of his persistent hard work and his ability to read, entertain, and surprise a crowd during his sets. Alex prefers just to say that he loves what he does and it's as simple as that. CHECK ALEX'S WEBSITE HERE - http://www.alexcollings.com/ The line-up for this Thursday is: Thursday August 3rd ALEX COLLINGS Helen Joyce Nick Ronin Rysty For more info e-mail helen@dirtygroove.co.uk See you on the Dancefloor!

  5. This Thursday @ Inigo - Richard Dinsdale is coming to rock DG! Richard Dinsdale is one of our favourite DJs fast making a name for himself on the international scene. On his way to becoming a well established producer, Richard has also spent the last 2 and a half years as a resident at Type @ The Cross alongside Seb Fontaine - he has the street cred and the skills, all at the young age of 24. Well he's been DJing since he was 13! Richard's solid, groove-led productions have been snapped up by UK labels Renaissance, Kinky Vinyl and Mark Knight‘s Toolroom, including the choppy electro track ‘Sniffin’ and his latest for Toolroom, 'Pulling Me Under' ft Wray, which has been climbing the hype chart. His own special flavour of tech-tinged electro and bass-heavy house will be getting you all fired up at the next DirtyGroove! And best of all - it's FREE ALL NIGHT and get there early for £1 shots before 9pm Inigo 642 Wansdsworth Road London SW8 3JW The Line up for this Thursday 3rd August is: RICHARD DINSDALE Rysty Tom Allan Nick Ronin
  6. Next DirtyGroove @ Inigo - SPENCER PARKER is comin' to party! We're excited to have Killer DJ & producer Spencer Parker booked as our next headliner @ DG - this is gonna be massive..! Spencer's style is simply best described as underground electronic house music. Preferred record labels range from the electro stylings of Get Physical, Cocoon, Kompakt and Kitsune through to the uber-cool house of Vulture, SAW, Yoshitoshi and Tenax. 7. It’s good to Talk…. Summer 2006 is fast approaching and with DirtyGroove moving on to the 3rd instalment of our monthly residency at the best bar in South London, Inigo, things are heating up at DirtyGroove Towers. Having rocked the SW4 Launch Party with Carl Cox at Brixton Academy over the recent bank holiday weekend it is with great excitement that we announce the latest guest DJ to sample the delights of our Thursday night shenanigans…. James Talk’s unique, funky tech and acid house sound can already hold claim for causing mayhem on many of the world’s finest dancefloors, and all at the age of just 22. Hailing from the murkiest waters of Southampton, James has already achieved a tremendous amount at such a young age and it seems like things aren't slowing down either. His first track ‘Eggs Are Cute’ was met with immediate success, receiving major support from the planets leading DJs including James Zabiela and Sasha. Tracks packed with similar acid riffs and killer b-lines were soon to follow with three of them being instantly signed to Saved Records, following a chance meeting with label boss Nic Fanciulli. The first ‘Love That Acid’, reached no 10 in the UK Buzz Charts, whilst the other two ‘House Rhythm’ and ‘Get Down’, both received critical acclaim from all sides of the dance music press. Praise was given to James in a major interview when Fanciulli uttered just three words when asked who the next big thing in dance music was; "James Talk – Amazing." James’ DJ diary is now filling up rapidly with sets alongside Nic Fanciulli, Lee Burridge, James Zabiela and Desyn Masiello. James completed what was a fantastic 2005 by entertaining the crowds at Godskitchen, Punchfunk, High Tide (for whom he headlined on New Years Eve), Renaissance and Fandango at Turnmills as well as signing to Represents for DJ bookings and mixing the next compilation in the Thinking Out Loud series. 2006 looks set to be an outstanding year for James too with Nic Fanciulli, Sander Kleinenberg and Fergie all choosing him as their breakthrough artist for 2006 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 issue. Since then James has been rocking the dancefloors of Shindig, ClubClass at Ministry Of Sound and Furry Music in Oslo, Norway amongst others, and with future gigs at Womb in Tokyo, Type at The Cross and Tribal Sessions, as well as productions due for release on Get Physical, Toolroom, Urban Torque, Lot 49, Hope and Saved and the launch of his own label Spoken Recordings who are we to argue! You can catch James playing alongside Dave, Nick & Tom from DirtyGroove at Inigo next Thursday 4th May. DJs will be spinning from 8pm – 2am and it’s £1 shots before 9pm and FREE ENTRY all night! Full details can be found at DirtyGroove. See you on the dancefloor!
