  1. So to clear things up, I could come on here and recommend my own nights or nights that my friends run and that wouldn't be spam? As long as they were happening this week?

Toast (which like Rouge, is not me by the way ) will be launching again soon, venue is yet to be revealed, but dont worry, I'm sure i'll be spamming away It will be in Brum as far as I know, chances are not too far from Rouge since i'd presume the promoters would like to move Rouges customers straight into Toast.

Toast is relaunching again soon at a new venue, with regards strip joints it depends on the venue, Demon was great when A:M was there.

The venue is still Spearmint Rhino Extreme, there may be Lapdancers in there on saturday night, but there is no lapdancing going on (well not officially anyway. There is plenty of fine women in Birmingham, which is why the glam clubbing scene has always been so big here. If this aint your thing then - DEX IN THE CITY starts on Fridays at Hidden soon, a night of funky breaks and beats. www.clique-hidden.co.uk "Dex in the City Due to the success of Dex in the City when they recently teamed up with Promise on their first Birthday and being constantly asked if we were intending to deliver more of this kind of thing we felt that it is what Birmigham has been lacking - and if you experienced the second room at the Promise 1st Birthday you will know what I mean!!! For people who didn't get this opportunity, here is what Dex in the City is all about... Its a funky Breaks night with a music policy that builds throughout the night from rare groove/HipHop/etc through to Funky Breaks! It is definitely what Birmingham is lacking and with the team on board we promise you will love our style. The dress code is: Just look funky! A little more relaxed than usual and the production will include breakdancers, fire eaters and other weird and wonderful acts... and of course Bad Ass Music! DJ's that e are looking to involve include... Plump DJ's Basement Jaxx Adam Freeland Stanton Warriors Llayo & Bushwacker Ali B Lee Coombs Hyper Jon Carter Rennie Pilgrem Dan Massive Simon Forestiero Steve Gerrard Paul Thomas Kate 2 Blu Sam Farrant Paul Hendry Launch Date to be announced this week! Watch this space..." More Brum announcements soon.

Yeah Moneypennys do have nights going on abroad and all over the country all year round but they have struggled to set up a permenant home in birmingham since they left Bonds, when they return I'd recommend a visit to Bonds......or Rouge
  11. elvis replied to elvis's post in a topic in General Discussion
No idea, they're doing all their stuff abroad over the summer and a one off party in brum with Erick Morillo @ Bonds, their original venue. Rumour has it that they will return to Bonds after the summer as the venue is getting a refurb but almost all the clubs in Birmingham are making some major announcement at the moment
  12. elvis replied to elvis's post in a topic in General Discussion
Oh and can I just mention the venue is 7 levels high
  13. elvis replied to elvis's post in a topic in General Discussion
The promoters of Rouge have organised some high profile house clubs in the past, the most recent being Babooshka at Code. With Miss Moneypennys closing, a huge gap in the market is open and the owners of Spearmint Rhino have for the first time ever given away their venue on a saturday night to outside promoters........also, everyone knows that Birmingham has a history of vocal house clubs.

Yeah but it's also being used as a club venue on saturdays now, and they have a lot of money to keep the venue looking smart. Expect to hear big things about both the venue and Rouge. And if 3am is to early to finish then check out Rouges sister club Toast www.toast-us.co.uk
