mate, the lab 4 press release will explain all, its on the bangingtunes message board somewhere, go have a look. of course i was honoured, and [censored] scared at the same time, so all the slating hasnt come as a surprise, and to be honest ive had more positive feedback from the people i was expecting to slate it the most!

right, lets get all this sorted shall we, first of all i think everyone who jumps on my back about this emix should first read the lab 4 press release about the remix, which should give you the facts about why this remix has happened etc, and lab 4's aims from it. yes it would have been nice to do a 'different' remix, but also i dont think there is ANY way of improving candyman without totally changing it, if i totally changed it then people would jump on my back about ruining the tune. as Chris said i was in a no win situation really, well lab 4 were impressed with what i did, and thats the important thing to me. At the end of the day every producer is gonna get called names and slated, because its just the way it is but rather than make assumptions i would rather people looked up the facts first. cheers, enjoy the remix ) Guy
