Passenger Records present the massive ‘Give It Up (Old Skool Style)’ by Aquasky & The Ragga Twins - Out Now Single out now featuring Trevor Loveys and Michael Morph mixes. Deman Rocker and Flinty Badman AKA The Ragga Twins were always the ultimate rabble-rousers at the old warehouse raves, titans of the microphone who took the art of MCing to brain-blowing levels. There's a gamut of mixes with Trevor Loveys also giving it some stick. Nu-rave? This is just incendiary party music. *Dylan Rhymes vs Blende 'Stars' Out Now..*
Dylan Rhymes vs Blende 'Stars' - Out Now Ahead of his forthcoming artist album on Lot49, label co-owner Dylan Rhymes steps up with a collaborative release that is set to take the world’s dancefloors by storm. Dylan Rhymes has a long and prestigious history in the UK club scene, producing and DJ’ing for over 15 years and working with labels such as Junior Boys Own, Kingsize, Whole 9 Yards and of course Lot49, the label he shares with fellow tech funk legend Meat Katie. For this track he teams up with the hotly tipped Swedish producer Blende and the inimitable Odissi, who once again provides unique vocals in the way that only she can. The original is a rough tech funk cut that blurs the lines between house, breaks and techno, turning in a monster tune with swirling distorted synths and a speaker tearing bassline. Odissi draws the listener in with her edgy and provocative vocals and makes this a record that grabs the attention from the off. Remixes come courtesy of Jelo who gives an ‘in your face’ dirty house reworking that is bound to do damage, Baobinga & ID who turn in a driving no holds barred warehouse stomp that strips the track to it’s bare bones and rebuilds it into a totally new monster. Next up there are vocal and dub versions from the Koma & Bones, who lift things up with remixes that crank up the atmosphere and add a instantly catchy melodic element. To round it off a radio edit for those who need things a little shorter! The Dylan Rhymes album will be dropping later in 2008 and if this is anything to go by then it will be well worth the wait. ‘Stars’ is available now from all of our digital partners and shop.lot49.

Lützenkirchen - Time Warp EP Out Now!
Spin Our Records... Lützenkirchen - Time Warp E.P. Well you may or may not know that we’re very big fans of Lützenkirchen here at Spin Out. After making a name for himself in 2005 on the label Great Stuff, his endless catalogue of remixes and personal productions have been outstanding and with his DJing style of Techno/Minimal/Microhouse he has also become a very sought after DJ. When he came to play for us down at Herbal in 2007 we knew this was a guy we wanted to work with and so here is what we’ve got for you; the first in a two part EP from the man himself. ‘Weasel Groove’ is the first single making up a two-part EP and the original is a typical Lützenkirchen bass heavy track. It kicks in with some nifty percussion, skippy beats and a techno bassline rolling on until the melody drops with some glitchy synths and the ‘out of time’ snippit vocal. The track builds up until the whole thing drops and when it does, you’d best watch those speakers as the bass is heavy, not unlike his infamous track ‘Knight Moves’. This one is soon to be another Lützenkirchen classic! On the remix front, we have upcoming producer Blende, he’s recently done remixes for the likes of the Klaxons and MSTRKRFT and we knew he would be able to work his magic on this release and my god, what a remix! This track is just full-on jacking and dirty. There is no messing about, just get on the dancefloor and fucking dance. The chunky beats will get your fists pumping and your butt moving and with the massive amount of dirty bass throughout we can almost guarantee you’ll be pulling your bass face through the whole track. Cleverly using the synth melody from the original this track breaks and then builds until it explodes into an all out frenzy of filthy which will have any dancefloor going crazy. What more can we say...its a pure filth fest! ‘Weasel Groove’ is available to buy on Vinyl from all good Vinyl stockists and all our digital partners from the 10th of March, so get on down to your fav shop and buy! LOT49 029 / 031 Digital Promo Out Now!
Lot49 Presents Elite Force Sampler / The Double A vol. 1 Digital promo available now!! Lot49 Presents Elite Force Sampler To compliment the release of the stunning Elite Force mix compilation, Lot49 are releasing a limited and exclusive sampler with 4 full length tracks featured in the mix. First up we have Zodiac Cartel with their debut release on Lot49 ‘Devil’s Music’, a tough and twisted breaks cut with enough glitches and fidgets to keep even the devil himself happy. Next up we have a meeting of great minds with Lot49’s Vandal joining up with Swedish chop chop king Blende. ‘Healthy Boy’ is an intense electronic workout with a driving b-line and pounding drums. To follow is the classic Meat Katie & Elite Force cut ‘Fabulous Mint 400’, given a reworking by Richard Dinsdale who has gained notoriety for his productions on Robbie Rivera’s and Mark Knight’s labels. This is a glitchy affair that steers the original parts in a whole new direction. To cap things off we have Lot49’s co-commander, Dylan Rhymes. As you would expect Mr Rhymes pulls no punches here and turns out yet another slamming floorfiller. Lot49 have a busy year lined up for themselves and this is just a little taster of what is to come. The Double A vol. 1 After a highly successful 2007, Lot49 present the first in a brand new series, 'The Double A'. These releases will have the simple premise of delivering two kicking tracks or remixes which are not necessarily related, “The Double A” continues Lot49s no-nonsense approach to supplying dancefloor bombs. ‘A’ comes in the form of a Rogue Element remix of Cambridge’s Broken Family Band. Hotly tipped by the likes of Vice, Clash, The Guardian, NME and Time Out, the band have been twisted up in fine style by the breakbeat golden boy. The result is the peak time whirlwind that is 'Love Your Man, Love Your Woman'. Road tested around the world by Lot49's dj's to huge effect, the hybrid of slamming electro and an infectious hardcore-esq riff goes off in any environment. ‘AA’ comes from Sweden’s bright new hope, Blende, who has been recently converting artists such as the Klaxsons, Soulwax & MSTRKRFT to his unique style of tech-funk takes Aran San’s ‘Ozlow Nyzz’ and turns in a future anthem. Watch this space for more of Blende’s work, he already has an exclusive collaboration with Vandal, 'Healthy boy', featured on Elite Forces lot49 presents mix comp, and another collaboration with lot49 label boss Dylan Rhymes called 'Stars'. These releases are currently only available from the promo section of the Lot49 Shop. For more info click here.

***30Hz 'Electric Sheep' New Album Out Now***
30Hz 'Electric Sheep' Lot 49 Out Now ‘Electric Sheep’ is the debut album from genre busting DJ/producer 30Hz, and is set to take the man behind the mini moniker into the limelight, so step forward James Ginzburg…. Hailing from Washington DC (USA). Ginzburg moved to England in 1998 and settled in Bristol where he soon immersed himself in the UK’s burgeoning electronic music scene. He created the 30Hz moniker in 2003, launched the much lauded breaks label, Vertical Sound and co-founded Tectonic, one of the most highly respected Dubstep labels around. As a DJ, 30Hz has become a performer to look out for, lighting up gigs across Australia, Europe, and North America, as well as performing numerous times on BBC Radio 1 including a live broadcast from London's Fabric on Annie Nightingale's show earlier this year. What to say about ‘Electric Sheep’, though? Well, expect the unexpected. This is a long player that draws on the raw talent of one of the best producers out there and skips effortlessly between genres, bringing an energy and excitement often missing from today’s dance albums. Kicking off with anthemic opener, ‘Daddio’, featuring the vocal talents of Yolanda (Bugz in the Attic, Massive Attack etc), we are instantly thrown into the funk-laden electronic beats of a sure-fire floorfiller. The album moves smoothly through deep electronica, tearing breaks and downtempo hip hop fuelled cuts, with tracks such as ‘Subliminal Criminals’, ‘Concentrate’ and ‘Mutate’ showcasing the broad range of styles 30Hz can conjure up. 30Hz has delivered an album with true depth and boundless energy to one of the hottest labels in the UK. Lot49 continue their aural assault with a record that deserves to be heard. This is what happens when Dubstep, house, breaks and techno collide to create something outstanding and unique. Electric Sheep is available at all major record shops as well as the Lot49 Mp3 shop and all our digital partners. http://www.beatport.com/ http://www.djdownload.com/ http://www.junodownload.com/ * Visit The Lot49 Mp3 Shop at http://shop.lot49.co.uk/ !! * For more info see http://www.lot49.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/lot49records

Names Not Bombs feat. Bloc Party, October 13th!
Names Not Bombs @ Jamm, Brixton Bloc Party (DJ Set) Kevin Griffiths (Issst) John Donaghy (Resident/Issst/Living In A Disco) Name Drop (Resident/Wake Up Famous) Si McEvoy (Backyard/Trash Fash) Adam Baker + Bands After the success of the our boat party in July NNB has decided to take the party back to dry land, thus not only eliminating all worries about falling over board and swallowing a nice mouthful of brown tinged Thames river water, but also doing away with any sob stories of not being able to swim, being scared of water, sharks, whales and rogue tampons to name but a few of the snide excuses some of you came up with last time! Not only are we back to terra firma along with the usual Nitrous supply, but we have managed again to get together another interstellar line up that not only covers all the bases but buries them well below six feet under. First up playing an exclusive DJ set for us are the thinking man and women’s Indie darlings Bloc Party. Not sure what to expect but given the calibre of their own tracks they surely have a record collection you would kill a whole block, let alone a whole party for. Also on the bill will be Issst co founder and Co resident Kevin Griffiths. Issst has over the past few years gained a reputation of throwing parties in a variety of locations attracting some of the worlds finest underground DJs whilst its residents have also built a name for supplying consistently cutting edge sets. So expect Kevin to rain some tech on any Indie parade. To complete the line up we have Simon McEvoy the man behind nights with a fast growing reputation such as TrashFash and Backyard as well as half of hot production duo Outmode in the form of names not bombs resident John Donaghy, and co resident Namedrop (the one man indie dance juggernaut) and all but resident and part time Ivan Smaghee impersonator Adam Baker. Because we care about future of our nation we are giving all you students a special NUS discount entry price of only a fiver. If your not a student but still fancy getting in for a fiver then join our facebook group or email at namesnotbombs@yahoo.co.uk and you will be added to the concessions list. Dats how we role NNB

Spin Out Records New Release - Simpleton 'Just Let Go'
Spin Out Records Simpleton ‘Just Let Go’ 1 : : Just Let Go 2 : : Just Let Go (Boabinga & ID Big Monster Remix) Spin Out has been a massive fan of Sam Vandal ever since our inception and he has weighed in with some of our best remixes on the label, notably his re-rubs of ‘Spilt Milk’ by Metric and Bob Standard, and ‘Come As One’ by Swain & Paris. We are incredibly proud, therefore, that he chose to launch his new electro-house moniker ‘Simpleton’, here with us on Spin Out. Taking a break from the breaks (see what we did there......bloody hell...) Sam ventures into the world of four to the floor and makes it look easy, bringing all the energy, class and musicianship which has made him such a firm breakbeat favourite and translating it into the language of house music. ‘Just Let Go’ is his first single under this new guise and what a way to kick off! Vocalist Jessica Grande, on loan from electro-punk band Sound Corruption delivers a stripped back spoken vocal, glitched and sampled in Sam’s trademark style. Bitcrushed percussion sits over a warm, bassy kick, taking its influences from minimal, electro and techno. The quirky, synth driven melody is the focal point of the track, rising and building to a huge crescendo making this a great builder track to bring people from 2nd to 5th gear in seven awesome minutes. Remix duty falls to a couple of producers who are making a lot of noise in breaks at the moment, so we thought we’d get them to come and make a lot of noise for us. Boabinga & ID have been making a name for themselves on top breaks labels such as Fat! and Mantra Breaks with their brand of synth driven tech-breaks so we though it was time we got them on Spin Out, and they do not disappoint! Heavy, tribal, percussive breaks clunk over a simply enormous bassline which builds and builds, filling every frequency with warm, synthy goodness. Definitely one to just get your head down and lose it to! ‘Just Let Go’ is available to buy from all good Vinyl stockists from the 23rd of July, and all our digital partners shortly after. http://www.beatport.com/ http://www.djdownload.com/ http://www.junodownload.com/ http://www.trackitdown.net/ http://www.beatsdigital.com http://www.3beatdigital.com * LOOK OUT FOR OUR NEW WEBSITE – COMING SOON – FULLY EQUIPPED WITH Mp3 SHOP!! * For more info see http://www.spinoutrecords.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/spinoutrecords http://www.dontstayin.com/spin-out-records.

Lot49 Presents Meat Katie Sampler 2 Out Now!
LOT49 Presents: Meat Katie ‘Sampler 2’ Elite Force ‘I Don’t Think So’ Jono Fernandez & Nick Thayer ‘Stay On The Line’ 30Hz ‘Mutton’ Release date: 23 July 07 Distributed by: SRD Its nearly month since our first of our compilation series was launched and already the response has been amazing, so we thought it about time to hit you with another HUGE sampler package. This one sees offerings from Elite Force, Jono Fernandez and Nick Thayer and 30Hz, four of Lot 49’s absolute top producers. These are tracks which epitomise tech-funk; hard-hitting percussion, rolling basslines and gritty, driving percussion with that all important groove. First up label stalwart Elite Force takes the reigns, laying down a slice of tough, tech-funk which only Elite Force could pull off. The energy and noise literally glows off this record, the bass pulsing underneath a drum section so tight there’s barely room for air! The track switches effortlessly between house and breaks, layering disco samples over techno rhythms in an utterly unique way. Definitely one for those 4am moments! Next in are Jono Fernandez & Nick Thayer, two producers who are at the heart of much of the quality music to come out of the Australian breaks scene over the last few years. ‘Stay On The Line’ sums this sound up completely; a hard hitting break, grinding electronic bass and effected sampled vocals merge together forming a mass of funk-infused tech-house nonsense so weighty we needed a JCB just to get it out of the studio (ok that’s a lie, it was just a pickup). Rounding off the package is one of the shining lights of Bristol’s vibrant breaks scene, 30Hz. ‘Mutton’ is arguably his finest work to date, a relentless, grinding piece of tech-house with loads of glitches, tweaks and more high-frequency distortion than a room full of pre-menstrual women. The track drives along until a huge breakdown which does the business, bringing the track up about 5 new gears before slamming you right back into the groove. Mutton dressed as lamb this ain’t! There is little else to say apart from get your hands on this Sampler and Lot 49 Presents : Meat Katie, A DJ Compilation and you’ll have your hands on some of the hottest material from Lot 49. Lot 49 Presents Meat Katie Sampler 2 is available at all major record shops as well as the Lot49 Mp3 shop and all our digital partners. http://www.beatport.com/ http://www.djdownload.com/ http://www.junodownload.com/ * Visit The Lot49 Mp3 Shop at http://shop.lot49.co.uk/ !! * For more info see http://www.lot49.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/lot49records
