DA016 - Hilz'E & Kynetik Feat. Chrysus & Riggsy - Filth/Like This - OUT NOW
Release 16 on Digital Assault and this time it’s a Hard Houser with a dark and sinister twist with Staar Records youngsters Hilz’E & Kynetik Firstly the boys team up with tech-trance supremo Michael Dow in his Chrysus guise. The aptly title “Filth” is a late night, last set, monster of a tune. With a menacing bassline and some sinister stabs and subtle noises building the track up, and an onslaught of a lead with bass changes that will make your gut burst. On the B side the duo team with hard house heavyweight Riggsy, who has been making a name for himself with his harder sound over the past 12 months. “Like This” again uses a rich, throbbing bassline and throws in some dark twisted hoovers to build up to the break nicely. The lead is hard and unrelenting, filth in every sense of the word. Don’t miss Hilz’E and Kynetik’s next outing on Digital Assault. Another hard house monster “Xpand” "Like this" has a massive lead synth and packs a serious 2am punch, this has been doing serious damage for me!!! "Filth" is a clever little NRG tune, fusing some tech trance arrangement and production values with dark synths and a driving bassline! –Daley (Storm) SAMPLES: FILTH SAMPLE LIKE THIS SAMPLE Available from: JunoDownload Trackitdown E-Music Globalgroove Digital Release Records DJ Download Dance-tunes TidyDigital BeatsDigital Dogs On Acid Ministry Of Sound Download Play Digital Bubblebeat Records with more stores to come!

DA015 - Nathan D & Velos - Discover - OUT NOW
Digital Assault return for 2008! After taking some time out the label returns with a hard trance powerhouse of a track. Discover is a peak time monster from new kid on the block Nathan D, and newly crowned Slinky resident Velos. Together they have brought us an epic anthem. With a beautiful piano breakdown which sweeps into a powerful euphoric riff which will get any foot tapping. Iridium serves up the second remix, and again its pure power all the way. With a menacing bassline and a synth that just builds and builds up to the breakdown, this remix toughens up the original. The final remix sees young upstart SystemShock take the controls. This remix brings the pace down and introduces some trance elements. This remix is beauty in itself, it glides along gracefully and brings in the riff of the original with some lovely pads sat underneath. Discover is a must for any DJ to have in their collection, and serves up something for everyone. iDJ Review "Digital Assault, one of the UK's better digital labels, reforms for 2008 after a lengthy hiatus and they strike back with Discover from newcomer Nathan D and newly-crowned Slinky resident Velos. Euphoria is very much the theme of this track with heartfelt pads, gentle piano melodies and a melody so polished you could see your own face in it. A welcome return for the label and a track which i think many of you will be picking up on before too long" SAMPLES: Original Iridium Remix SystemShock Remix Available from: Trackitdown E-Music Globalgroove Digital Release Records DJ Download Dance-tunes Trackitdown with more stores to come! Digital Assault Update & DA014 News
As you probably realise by now, we have taken a short break to get some of the back office stuff sorted out, and to also wait on remixes for future tracks. Our next release will be on Wednesday 14th March and will be a very special one DA014 - DIGITAL ASSAULT & ANDREW DRING PRES. - UNITED This release comprises of 4 mixes mixed by the Tidy Board production faithful. The original idea was put forward by Andrew Dring, which was basically to take a riff which he composed and made a track out of this riff. We had an excellent response to the competition, with myself and Ian choosing the top 3 mixes ourselves. The 4th remix was put to a vote on the Tidy Board. All the proceeds from this release will be donated to Cancer Research UK. So we would ask if you do like one of the tracks, even just a little. Buy it from one of our download portals (TidyDigital/Trackitdown/Juno Download/Audiojelly), so that we can donate as much as possible to Cancer Research. Samples of the 4 mixes can be listened to here (This link will be updated to the TidyDigital link once the samples go up, which should be in the next couple of days) OTHER NEWS We had 2 of our tracks shortlisted for the Hard Dance Awards album. Self Destruct and Dinkatronjohn were both put forward my Amadeus as a possibility of being used on his CD. Unfortunatly the two tracks did not make the final cut, but we feel that for a digital label, which has been running less than a year, this is definatly a step in the right direction, and hope that we continue in this vein. DA015 - Nathan D & Velos - Discover (Original & Iridium Remix) Our next release will be a monster of a hard trancer. Nathan D & Velos bring a track full of energy and power, and the Iridium remix tops it all off with hard filtered synths and a powerful riff. (Samples of these 2 tracks will be up later today) Contact We're still looking for new tracks, so if you have anything you would like to send to us then you can contact us in the following ways: MSN Si: S_Langers@hotmail.co.uk Ian: Ian@thecolonel.co.uk EMAIL digitalassult@hotmail.co.uk Myspace www.myspace.com/digiassault

DA011 and DA012 Now Available!
Firstly, myself and Ian would like to wish you all a Happy New Year and best wishes for 2007 Ok, we've been laggin a bit in the past few weeks, this is mainly due to difficulties we've been having with uploading to the Trackitdown website. We seem to have overcome that now and have updated as appropriate. So we present to you, Releases 11 and 12 on Digital Assault DA011 - IRIDIUM - CYCLONE (ORIGINAL & SAM HUDSON REMIX) After a storming remix of Stuart Heasty's "Blue Sky", Iridium returns with a hard house stormer of his own. Cyclone is a track that you'd hear Glazby, Farley or JP & Jukesy belt out. It has a definate "Masmada" feel about it. Ripping deep synths make up the main lead of the track, and its a corker of a riff. Add to that a rumbling bassline and some twisted stabs, and you have a filthy monster capable rocking any dancefloor. The Sam Hudson remix takes up down a different path. Slower chunkier and with a bassline thats almost electro, its perfect for those earlier sets leading up to the middle of the night. Sam keeps the original riff but adds sweeps and extra sounds for the extra beefy feel. [ORIGINAL SAMPLE] [sAM HUDSON REMIX SAMPLE] BUY [TRACKITDOWN] [TIDYDIGITAL] DA012 - SCOTT FO-SHAW - DINKATRONJOHN Our 12th release sees young talent Scott Fo-Shaw make his first appearance on Digital Assault. However you will have most probably heard of him before. Scott has slowly been making his name in the hard dance scene with several releases in the last year on a variety of labels. Scott likes to take the roots of hard house and give them a modern day workover. Dinkatronjohn is a prime example of this. It oozes the old skool hard house vibe. A funky bassline chugs along beneath the track, with piano stabs that have that classic feel about them This track has been getting much support by a wealth of DJ's such as The Tidy Boys, Kernzy & Klemenza, Daley, Velos and our very own Colonel Look out for Scotts next release on Digital Assault, titled "Check Out The Sound [sAMPLE] BUY [TRACKITDOWN] [TIDYDIGITAL]
