... I’m off to a 90s dance night in Lincoln tomorrow 🤣🤣 nights like this are about the only time I really get my dancing shoes on these days! Not hard house but beats Lincoln’s Shitty bars. ill post some pics from the night next week once I’ve recovered from my 2 day hangover. God it sucks being older 🤣

Just curious, I moved to Lincoln 6 years ago from Leeds, I don't think I've ever been to a hard house night in Lincoln (although I'm sure Lisa Lashes played at a club called Scream before then). I've met 1 person in Lincoln into hard dance so far.... 😂 Is there anyone else in the area into this sort of music on CTW?

Yeah everything Si said is spot on - it’s really easy for people to find a site which will illegally rip the audio from a YouTube or SoundCloud link. I always put a minute and a half of the build and the main drop of the track in, and most people do the same on SoundCloud. plus it helps to create a ‘teaser’ clip if you send stuff to labels as a demo, if they’re interested and want to hear more they’ll ask for the full track which you can send privately by email 👍🏻

And still manage to squeeze in a quick catch up call with me hahaha. as for me, I don’t have kids but I have 2 very demanding dogs!! (One is staring at me right now). They keep me fit and healthy though and I have an excuse to get outside. Other than that - it’s all about the creative side. Making music and photography! I’ve been producing for about 15 years now, converted the garage not long back so I’m lucky to have my own studio space which is my ‘woman cave’ 🤣 I got my first DSLR camera a couple of years ago and that also gets me out and about. Clubbing photography is something I might delve into...

You’ve done a good job with that honestly, I know how it is though, good producers are always their own biggest critics! always willing to give constructive feedback, I know how valuable it is so I’ll subscribe to your channel and keep an eye out for more. Is it mainly trance you produce? yeah I produce and I also run Fired Up Records. It’s been a bit slow these last few years as I try to juggle that and a busy full time job but I still love discovering new artists so would definitely like to hear more of your stuff.

Yep exactly! You can’t beat the feeling of mixing vinyl - we all took so long to pick these gems out in the shops. I get real nostalgia and takes me back to where I first heard the music. Si let me know if you need any more help 🙂

Don't give up on the vinyl!! I have Serato and the first gen DDJ-SB (Pioneer) but you can't beat the real deal. They aren't 1210's but Audio Technica get good reviews for their turntables lately. I would grab those to be honest as they're be just as good. Also I'll add - 1210's were always industry standard but my Gemini XL500 (first decks!) are still going strong, 16 years old!!
