All the synths are the same price if not more ! Virus C is £1045 about £30 less Novation D Station is £450 about £100 more. Nord Lead 3 is £1400, about the same.

Or you could get Berhinger Truths for about £300, they a pretty f*cking good. I know Berhinger isn't the best name in sound equipment but these speakers are decent quality. Or save yourself a grand and buy some Mackie 824 or Dynaudios BM6A's Now they are f*cking amazing !

About 1/2 hour a night, 4 nights a week. That's about it. I haven't mixed for about a month, just haven't got the appetite for it at the moment. I'm meant to be playing Serious in December, I should be practising. Oh well pots and pans it is !

Yeah I've just been to another site: http://www.audiostate.co.uk/ggp_project_digimix.htm#logic They do custom built desks, I've told them what I want and they're going to come back with a CAD drawing for me. I've got a feeling it could cost the same if not more but it's worth a look. I'm coming round to the idea that's it's going to cost at least a grand. Anything else I look at now will just look inferior so I know I'm going to end up buying a decent one !

www.gear4music.com There are loads of workstations on here under the furnature section, the only ones I like the look of are the really expensive ones, I need to be able to put 2 monitors and 2 monitor speakers on the upper shelf and the cheaper ones don't look big enough It's a pain in the arse not being able to see them infront of me to get an idea of the size, damn internet !

Yeah I could get somebody to build one for me but where am I going to find a master carpenter who's into tunes I've found one place that does them but the decent ones that look like they'll suit my needs are about £2k, I'm all for spending money without thought but £2k on a desk is a bit much. Let me know if you find anything !

A decent Music / Computer workstation from ? I need a desk that will hold a desktop rack for synths, 2 flatpanel monitors, a keyboard, computer underneath and monitor speakers. I know people make them but I can't find anywhere on the net that sells them ?!

No don't really go on any production forums, any useful ones would be appreciated. I carried on with the tune I've been doing in cubase last night, it's quite good actually, very progressive trance which isn't really my style but that's how it's turned out. Need to put a main lead in there and a little piano riff in the background, add a few quirky noises and another few lines of percussion to fill it out etc.. It's got potential

Only sitting with other people really, I went to Steve Helstirps (Thrilseekers) studio for a day and went through loads of stuff with him which is obviously about the best advise you can get. Only thing is he uses cubase and I'm using logic so I'm bound to have loads of problems. But I'm willing to lock myself away for a few years until I can create some banging trance as good as him or PVD

Yeah no problem, I'll buy everybody a top spec G5 ! Yeah I would like a G5 but I'm going to buy a G4 Powerbook cause I need it to be portable. Don't think I can wait until the G5 powerbook comes out cause by the sounds of it, it could be a while. Any comment on what synths you'd recommend ? Most seem to think the Virus C and Nord Rack III are the best for trance but I want more opinions.

Right I'm new to this producing game, well I've sat with people while they've produced but never done it myself. I'm going to buy a MAC and run Logic on it but need help on what other external equipment I should buy ? Keyboard, Rack synths, Mixing console, effects etc...... I'm going to be making trance BTW. Money is no object just want to know what is the best stuff to get
