Brisk #Brisk

DJ Brisk, whose real name is Paul Nineham, stands as a pivotal figure in the UK hard dance scene, boasting a career that spans over three decades. Widely regarded as a pioneer of happy hardcore, he has seamlessly evolved with the genre, making significant contributions to hardcore and hard dance, the latter often under his alias Stimulant DJs with partner Ham. His influence is further cemented by co-owning influential record labels like Next Generation Records and Blatant Beats, which have been instrumental in shaping the sound of UK hardcore and hard dance. With an extensive discography that includes numerous singles, EPs, and prominent mix albums like "Hardcore Heaven" and "Bonkers," as well as his own artist albums, DJ Brisk's impact is undeniable. Beyond his studio work, he is a celebrated performer, known for his energetic sets at countless events and festivals, and continues to be an active force in the scene through producing music, DJing, hosting his radio show "The Brisk Selection," and engaging with fans online through platforms like Twitch, where he was nominated for "Best International Streamer" in 2023. While traditional mainstream awards may be less common in the genre, DJ Brisk's enduring legacy and the high esteem he is held in by the hard dance community underscore his profound and lasting influence.
