From its humble beginnings as a Monday night event in Preston; a year and a half of storming parties has seen the young Toast team grow to become ‘The North’s biggest new talent promoters’ (Mixmag May 2004). And now with the record label in association with Mixed Up on the horizon, a nationwide tour to support its launch, further events in Ibiza this summer and some of the countries most sought after new talent as residents Toast’s reputation is growing from strength to strength and the label aims to reflect Toasts cutting edge sounds and attitude. Label boss and Toast resident Morgan has also been busy putting his superb musical knowledge to use in Toast’s Bolton based studio and is hard at work juggling working on new material with scouting for fresh new production talent; his aim is to make the label feature a first class selection of cutting edge music from both the finest established and up and coming producers around. With future confirmed releases from Morgan, Sam Townend,Mark Maintland, Chris Impact and further material from Alex Calver to very much look forward to it seems that Toasted is about to place its mark on the scene. Toasted Recordings tour dates: Plans for the autumn/winter tour are already coming together, with dates at the likes of Garlands, Housewives Choice, Incision, Play 2 (Ibiza) and a whole stack of smaller events already confirmed.
