Chris Avantgarde, born Christian Vornweg in Arnsberg, Germany in 1992, is a London-based artist, producer, and composer. Beginning his musical journey as a jazz pianist at age thirteen, he shifted his focus to electronic music production by fifteen. Avantgarde is known for his versatile and "off-kilter" approach, blending elements of techno and electronica, often with a cinematic touch. His work extends beyond dance music, including compositions for film trailers, TV shows like DARK and Lucifer, and video games. He has released music on labels such as Afterlife and Drumcode, gaining recognition for tracks like "Consciousness" and "Eternity," collaborations with Anyma.
