well i am going to jabber abit here ppl, so i apologise if it doesnt make sense. but i think most of u will hopefully agree with me on this one. i am proud to say that i have decided to completely stop taking Pills........as i had a bad experience last weekend. i have made this decision because i need to get my head and my life sorted out, and stop being a little shit that thinks it is ok to upset everyone around me, that includes my family and friends. Emma i think u would agree with me on this one. as i have seen wot it did 2 u, im not saying that i think u were wrong but u did have ur reasons. and from seeing ur experience, and me starting to go down that path it isnt the right way to go. it will neva get rid of my problems, as they will always be there the next day. i have told sarah 2 neva give them 2 me again even if i ask. which i hopefully won't. as she has decided 2 do the same thing. my mum and my friends are proud of me and it feels good to be wanted, as before noone wanted 2 know me becuz of wot i was like. i am proud of myself and i hope to keep this up. i am 15, i have my whole life ahead of me, and i dont need 2 destroy it at such an early age. i want 2 go somewhere with my life. and that is wot i am going to do. i have all the support i need and alot more aswell. i have come to the conclusion that i need to talk abotu my problems, that is the only way to resolve them, not by taking drugs. What do u think??

Well we know most of the time it happens through drinks being spiked, but in an article today in the paper about the dangers of a new method of date rape. A woman was attacked and raped and new nothing of the incident until she woke up in a hotel alone and became aware she had been raped and attacked. The woman had asked for a cigarette from two unknown men and remembers feeling 'strange and dizzy' straight after smoking it. After then her memory is blank. The cigarette had been dipped in embarming fluid and has become a new method of date rape and doping victims. The US has reported more cases of the attacks but they are quite new to the UK. It sickens me that we live in a society as bad & as sick as we do

Childhood immunisation would provide adults with protection from the euphoria that is experienced by users, making drugs such as heroin and cocaine pointless to take. The UK government announces plans to develop a nationwide anti-drug vaccination scheme of children similar to the current measles, mumps and rubella programmes. i can understand the science behind why some drugs can lead to paranoia, but i've always wondered why canabis does. some people it seems to mellow them out where as others it has the opposite effect. anyone know the science behind this?

Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 - Maximum Penalties Class A Possession = 7 years imprisonment or a fine, or both. Supply = Life imprisonment or a fine, or both. Class B Possession = 5 years imprisonment or a fine, or both. Supply = 14 years imprisonment or a fine, or both. Class C Possession = 2 years imprisonment or a fine, or both. Supply = 14 years imprisonment or a fine, or both. Drugs and the law It's not an offence to possess cannabis seeds, but it's illegal to grow them. It's not an offence to pick magic mushrooms, but it's illegal to brew, dry or cook them. Coke, ecstasy, LSD, magic mushrooms, heroin and speed (if prepared for injection) are all Class A drugs. Possession could get you seven years in prison. If you're done for supplying, you could get a life sentence. Even if you're just getting a couple of extra pills for your mates, in the eyes of the law, you're supplying. If you're going on holiday this year it's worth thinking about the penalties abroad which can be very severe - smuggling drugs can lead to life imprisonment in Cyprus and Greece and up to 20 years in Italy, Portugal, Tunisia and Turkey. Trade Events @Turnmills on Hold The Trade Collective have been working very closely with fellow club promoters, owners, press campaigns and local police to formulate ways of stopping the growing menace of GHB. Some venues have had some success in attempts to try and stop this becoming a problem, but for others the problem is growing. We at Trade are more than happy for any venue, holding our events, to implement any procedures required to stop GHB. With strict searching policies and other precautions, we have had limited GHB problems with Trade Events @ Egg or Trade Tours. However it is with the deepest regret that we have to inform you that Turnmills have decided to put on hold future events at their venue, as the last Easter party led to a number of GHB overdoses. Obviously we are deeply saddened at Turnmills decision, but we respect their decision with this growing menace. The proliferation of GHB, in recent times, is a growing menace to the clubbing scene as a whole. A few individuals are in danger of ruining some of the best clubs in the world, for the majority of sensible clubbers. When will these individuals wake up to the damage they are doing to your clubbing scene! Trade @Turnmills is just the first victim of the stupidity of a few. The Trade Collective will continue to actively work with interested parties in supplying quality clubbing in a safe environment, free from GHB, for the majority of sensible clubber. DON'T LET GHB RUIN YOUR CLUBS We are working on future Trade events at the moment, so keep an eye on our website and press for details. The Trade Collective Response from Turnmills It is with deepest regret that we have had to take these measures, safety of our clientele and staff has always been our highest priority and we feel that the current trend of GHB in clubs is spiralling out of control. This problem is not just confined to Turnmills but is a becoming a major problem in many gay and straight clubs up and down the country. As responsible licensees and club owners we have taken the only course of action that is open to us to prevent a serious incident occurring in the future. All trade events are currently on hold until we can get together to talk about all the eventualities and the measures that can be implemented to eradicate this serious problem. Turnmills has continually supported Trade and the gay community for over a decade and we will continue to do so, but only in a safe and controlled manner. ----------------- Who now can say that GB doesn't have a bad effect on clubland?

The Serious Issues forum is allowed for sensible and honest enquiries about this subject. NOT for the glorification of it. There are plenty of other sites out there in the big 'ol internet if you want to talk about drugs. This place is not for it. If you can't abide (that means obey) by these rules, then in short, sling your hook. We don't want you. If you insist on talking about about drugs, then you will be banned. The hallucinogenic effects of magic mushrooms were generally restricted to those determined enough to scour forests and secluded glades at the right time of the year. But help is now at hand for those who find reality too dull and can’t be bothered to leave the city in search of a solution. Magic mushrooms, despite containing a Class A drug, have recently gone on sale in Scottish shops without - so far - attracting the attention of the police. Retailers are making full use of vagueness in the law which means magic mushrooms are only illegal if they are ‘dried’ or ‘prepared’. For nearly half a century, The Pipe Shop on Edinburgh’s Leith Walk, has been one of the top places to buy Havana cigars in Scotland. But, alongside the jars of specialist tobacco and a massive humidor full of the finest Cuban tobacco leaves, there are now discreet signs offering "Mexicana magic mushrooms" for £12 a bag. And a former greasy spoon in Leith - newly converted to an internet cafe and renamed ‘Purple Haze’ - has also diversified into the business, selling both the Mexican and Hawaiian strains. The tobacconist and cafe owner both have a letter from the Home Office that indicates the sale of magic mushrooms is legal, providing they are sold in their natural state. However, Scottish authorities appear ready to adopt a hardline stance on the sale of the mushrooms, which contain the class A substance psilocybin, that could lead to life sentences for both men if a judge interprets the law differently. link alasdair

It's not about so called friends takin part in my place of work really.. invited them don't cheap drinks n all then oh no they ave to do drugs... i can get sacked instantly for that..... and i've been workin on a promotion for a couple of months now which payed off last night.. but because of them i could lost everythin... lost my total respect and will not be goin clubbin or anythin wid them again....

What do u do when your gf doesnt understand clubbing and drugs. I had a break from my gf and then started clubbing and doing drugs. We then got back together. But now i still want to go out and take drugs but she would never understand as she hates anything to do with drugs. How confusing. Anyone got any advise.

Was generally just curious to know whether any other peeps have come into contact with this drug. It was on donal mcintyre the other week,known as boo,ice, crystal meths or yabba. Personally,havin lived in se asia for a while Ive come into contact(a bit too often I might add) with this 'dangerous menance',which I was shocked to learn will eventually cause the collapse of western civilisation if it ever hits thease shores. Blimey! regards
