Garlands was an iconic after-hours gay nightclub that opened in Liverpool in 1993, quickly becoming a cornerstone of the city's LGBTQ+ scene on Eberle Street. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and themed nights, Garlands operated at 8-10 Eberle Street, leaving a lasting legacy on Liverpool's nightlife. While the original club has since closed, its spirit has been revived with the reopening of the venue as Elysium Nightclub, which aims to continue the tradition of inclusivity at the same location. Additionally, GBar Liverpool, which opened opposite Garlands in 1996 at 1-7 Eberle Street, remains a significant part of the city's "Gay Quarter" and is considered a sister club to the original Garlands.
