How the War began!! Not so many moons ago the Logic Alliance lived peacefully in their home, The Fridge on the southern side of the Clubbing Galaxy. Known only as fun loving peaceful party people they were happy with the territory that they felt was theirs forever. Without warning on 30th Jan 2000AD, The Frantic Imperials marched in from their home in the North destroying everything in sight with their banging brand of super charged Hard House. The Logic Alliance fled to the hills weak, surprised and defeated...the War had just begun!!! In a wise tactical maneuver, the Logic Alliance retaliated on January 18th 2003 and marched straight into the Frantic Imperials home and flagship venue, Camden Palace blowing it away like no other had done before....the rest is just history.. Jan 30th 2000 AD – Frantic make counter attack on Fridge, Logic flea to the hills defeated... Jan 18th 2003 AD - Logic retaliates and marches into Camden Palace, taking no prisoners.. Sept 20th 2003 AD - Frantic and Logic go head to head at the mighty Camden Palace - a truce is declared... Jan 30th 2004 AD - In a surprise attack by mutant Dodos, Logic are forced from their home The Fridge as it is invaded and taken over... March 28th 2004 AD - Frantic's flagship Camden Palace is destroyed by enemy Starship. They are forced to find a new home... May 15th 2004 AD - Logic and Frantic battle it out over London’s brightest star The Scala, London's newest and freshest Hard Dance venue. The battle for the soul of London clubbing is here once again!!! Hats off to El Captino, Shan and Alex Kidd for superb / varied sets last week that saw another brilliant atmosphere at the club. This week we welcome Sundissential and Elasticman’s king of the party – Ilogik. Stemming from the hardcore scene and complete with an impressive scratch routine, Ilogik’s production credits can be mostly found on his own ‘Elasticman’ label that has seen us all bouncing around for quite some time now. Of course, you can add a whole host of other labels and a very busy DJ schedule to Ilogik’s contribution to hard dance. He’s played all the majors, been there and done that, and to be honest his ‘Leeds Wednesday night’ appearance is long overdue! In line with recent Sessions policy, we also throw the cream of the crop local talent within the formula and welcome Lox and Will Graney too. Lox, now involved heavily with the Housewives Choice stable can boast all the major local brands to his biography as well as new outing ‘Believe’ (first release on the HWC label). Will is another of those who’s clued up to the eyeballs on hard dance *cough* ‘aka a sad trainspotter’ *cough* - this is reflected is his versatility and approach to the scene and his appearances and involvement in brands like Kemistry. House Sessions continues to rock. Omissimo and Rich rocked steady last week and this week we expect nothing less from Carl Anians (of Kemistry fame) and the master – Filthy Rich. Once again, knowing how skint we all are, the cheap drinks are in plentiful supply – with two for one cocktails and other silly prices at ‘Function’ @ Mook (they have residents Omissimo and Tom Paton this week) and then you’ve got the likes of buy one get one free on the likes of Carling and Java, as well as a rather new tasty vodka and absinthe combination called ‘Abis’ going out at only £1.50. Don’t tell me – you’re only coming out for a ‘couple of quiet drinks’ right? Yeah yeah, see you at 230am screaming for one more! Lol! Gary DJGRH

Alright guys jus thought I'd let you know that York is actually witnessing a good club event for a change at Ikon so whoever's around should come down and check it out - 10-2.30 and should be a stormer, Miss Behavin was wicked when I saw her at Sundissential and Ilogik plays out at GoodGreef which I'm sure you are aware is a mentalist night out. So whoever might wanna go give us a a shout! hope to c ya
