Native Instruments #native instruments

Native Instruments, founded in Berlin in 1996, is a prominent German company specializing in music software and hardware. Initially focused on software, their first product was the modular synthesizer "Generator." They expanded into hardware with Komplete, a software bundle, in 2003. Key product releases include Maschine, a groove production system (2009), and Traktor, DJ software and hardware. Native Instruments became a major player in the DJ market and continued to innovate, eventually being acquired by Francisco Partners in 2021. In 2023, iZotope, Brainworx, and Plugin Alliance joined the Native Instruments family, further broadening their offerings. The company provides a wide array of tools for music production and DJing, including software suites like Komplete, Maschine, Traktor, Kontakt, Reaktor, and Guitar Rig, as well as hardware such as Maschine controllers, Komplete Kontrol MIDI keyboards, Traktor DJ equipment, and audio interfaces.
