Phats & Small #Phats & Small
Phats & Small is a British electronic dance music duo formed in Brighton, England, in 1998. The duo consists of Jason "Phats" Hayward and Russell Small. They gained international recognition with their hit single "Turn Around" in 1999, which sampled Toney Lee's "Reach Up" and Change's "The Glow of Love." While the initial track featured Toney Lee's vocals, singer Ben Ofoedu later joined the group and appeared in the music video, performing the vocals live. Ofoedu contributed to subsequent singles like "Feel Good" and "Tonite" from their debut album "Now Phats What I Small Music" (1999). Over the years, Phats & Small have seen changes in vocalists, with Tony Thompson and Ryan Molloy also featuring on their tracks. Russell Small is also part of the production team The Freemasons. Phats & Small continue to perform live and release music, with a new version of "Turn Around" featuring Ben Ofoedu in 2016.
