  1. One more problem I have been getting......Wonder if anyone has any ideas as to why this is happening.... I've only just finished my mix-cd but that's only cos I have borrowed my mates CD writer and recorded from my hi-fi directly onto that, and then opened it up in Soundforge. When I was trying to record it directly onto Soundforge, I would finish my mix and go back to listen to it...At random points in the mix, there would be some strange noises come in...Kinda like if u had a cd playing and it skipped There didn't seem to be any pattern as to when this happened. I use the booth monitor output on the mixer (DJM600) and plug it into my soundcard and adjust the volume by usin the booth volume control to keep it below the red, the PC is 900MHZ Athlon 196MB ram...So I thought it could be the soundcard, which isn't the newest card but it's not that old (not sure what it is tho TBH) - but Its odd that the rest of the mix is fine and it just happens every now and then. The recording levels were fine - so it's a mystery to me. I did even wonder if it was cos Im usin a copied version of SF (obviously I have the master I just choose to use the copied disk version..hmmmm) but doubt that. It's not a major problem at the moment cos Ive finished the mix cd that I am gonna send out, but will be a problem when I wanna make a new one. Sorry this is so long, if anyone has any ideas or has had this problem i'd be very grateful for any help as it's so frustrating!!. THANK U Joe
