Steve Blake is a London-based DJ and record producer renowned for his contributions to the trance and hard house genres. Starting his DJ career in the London club scene around 1990, he transitioned to playing hard house in underground clubs by 1997. His breakthrough came in 1999 with the release of "Expression" on Tidy Trax, which achieved chart success and critical acclaim. In 2002, his single "I Get A Rush" reached number 13 on the UK dance chart and has been featured on various dance music compilations. Over his career, Blake has released approximately 20 singles and numerous remixes, collaborating with fellow DJs like Nick Sentience and Phil Reynolds. He continues to perform live DJ sets as of 2023.
