Titanic Bar #Titanic Bar

The Former Titanic Restaurant, located in the Regent Palace Hotel near Piccadilly Circus, was a short-lived venture by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White, operating between December 1998 and January 2002. Named due to its position above the hotel's Atlantic Bar and Grill, its decor aimed to evoke the style of a liner, referencing the RMS Titanic. Despite a £2 million refit and aspirations of becoming a celebrity hotspot, the restaurant was critically panned for both its food and its "Art-Deco approximation of Hades" interior. While it did attract some famous faces, it also faced legal challenges from the owner of the Atlantic Bar and Grill and ultimately closed after just over three years. The space has since been occupied by other establishments, most recently the DC Comics-themed Park Row, which also closed, and is now slated to become a clay pigeon shooting experience.
