Vienna Symphonic Library #Vienna Symphonic Library

Vienna Symphonic Library (VSL), founded in 2000 by former Vienna Philharmonic cellist Herbert Tucmandl, is an Austrian company based in Vienna that has risen to become a world leader in high-quality orchestral sample libraries and music production software. Driven by a desire for more authentic and nuanced sampled instruments, VSL initially operated from their custom-built Silent Stage before acquiring and renovating the historic Synchronhalle in Vienna in 2013, transforming it into the renowned Synchron Stage Vienna. This move allowed them to develop their flagship "Synchron" series, capturing the natural ambience of a world-class recording environment. Today, VSL offers an extensive and meticulously recorded range of instruments, powered by their innovative software, and is highly regarded by composers and musicians globally for the realism, detail, and flexibility of their products, particularly in the realm of film scoring and classical music production.
