happens all the time, but most recently stopping a car with a 10 year old boy in the drivers seat. the convesation went something like this: Me: "how old are you?" boy: "i'm 10 officer". me: "in all my time as a police officer i have never seen a 10 year old boy behind the wheel of a car and blatently admit it". Adult female gets out of passenger side of car. female: "yes but officer!" me: " never mind that, who are you?" female: "i'm his mother, and i'd just like to......." me: "your his mother? your telling me that you think it's ok to let a 10 year old drive a car on the public highway?" female: "but officer....." me: "i can't believe what i'm seeing here." 3 or 4 mins of further stunned conversation, Female finally butts in: "yes but officer it's a left hand drive car." you can imagine the rest!
